    Topical Anti-hairloss Solutions

The only approved topical is Rogaine, but like all current hair loss products it doesn't work for most people.

    Sunburn on Scalps

I'm not sure about this, but I think that it could have a negative effect. My Dad was stationed in a hot country when he was in the army and he went bald really quickly at a young age. He contributes this to sunburn. I on the other hand have been losing my hair more slowly.

    Re-Start Rogaine?

I wondered about this too. I was on regular Rogaine for ages but my hair continued falling out over that time and my scalp was itchy all the time and felt like crap. I then started Propecia and dropped the Rogaine as I felt the itchiness it was causing was doing more harm than good. My hair has...

    Where to buy "online"?

I use http://www.inhousepharmacy.co.uk/ for Propecia. They usually send it from Tuvalu and it is genuine stuff. They also offer generic brand Finpecia which is cheaper. As for Rogaine Foam, I got some from this guy on ebay. Delivery was quick seeing as it came from the US too...

Programme About Balding on BBC3 Tonight

You can compress it in Windows Movie Maker which you should have on your computer in "C:\Program Files\Movie Maker". Run moviemk.exe to open it then drag your uncompressed recording into the main window. Now drag the clip on to the top timeline underneath. Here you can trim the clip by dragging...

Is this a wig? Ron Asheton from "The Stooges"

I thought that when I saw him on Jonathan Ross yesterday. I think he would actually look younger with a shaved head.

PICTURES!!!!!!!!! of baldness happening up close.

I'm sure the skin being tighter across the top of the head is a contributing factor in hairloss. People with male pattern baldness only go bald on the top of their heads and not on the sides and back where the skin is thicker.

want to take 0.25mg of finasteride a day....need advice

I've been on 0.25mg for a while, due to sides on higher dosages, and it hasn't helped much. I might just be a non responder though and a higher dose might not have helped either. The only side I notice on 0.25mg is my semen is a bit more watery than it used to be. On higher doses I would also...

Is There A Doctor On The Boards? Feeling Very Ill!

I don't think it being generic finasteride will make any difference, it is all the same drug. The best thing to do is tell your doctor that you were desperate and felt there was nothing else to do but order finasteride over the Internet. You never know, he might give you a prescription if he knows you are going...

    Sharpie permanent marker?????????

 Genius! I'm going to do this when I'm completely bald and look like Ming the Merciless! You should use a dedicated product to cover bald patches such as Toppik/Nanogen or Couvre.

how do you tell your kids you wear a wig??

It is much more accepted by society for women to wear wigs than men. I'm sure that your daughter won't feel deceived if you tell her when she is a bit older and can understand. You will probably find better advice on a forum dedicated to female hair loss. I don't think many women post on here.

    Propecia sexual side-effects.

I haven't got any scientific answers but I did get sides on finasteride. When I first got it I tried taking just half a tablet (0.5mg) and after a couple of days I started to get a dull ache in my balls. I could still get an erection but my libido was definitely lower. I think the reason people get...

    sterilise all baldies

I've got a better idea. Let's all go around impregnating as many women as possible to create millions of baldies! The people with hair will then be the ones in the minority and they will all want to shave their hair off to conform!

    sterilise all baldies

Hair loss isn't really a major thing in the scheme of things. There are far worse genetic conditions which people could pass on to the next generation. There is also hope that in 20 to 30 years a cure will have been found.
