Wow thats pretty cool. Is it just me or is the healthy hair also surrounded by blood vessels while the thinning hair appears to have no vessels?

I would like to have some pictures like that for a before and after photo.

they look like wrinkles. the bald scalp is tighter and shinier. HM will be nice.

I'm sure the skin being tighter across the top of the head is a contributing factor in hairloss. People with male pattern baldness only go bald on the top of their heads and not on the sides and back where the skin is thicker.

interesting what they say in the last post on that site. "Patients with a diffused thinning pattern are in fact losing hair shaft diameter within that zone." Are they saying that patients with diffuse thinning patterns just have miniaturized hair, but typically all the hairs are still there? if so, this bodes well for diffusers who use rogaine i'd imagine.
