    Quitting propecia

Dry eyes, is that it? Hmm... if that's all you're experiencing then I think you should continue. If it was making you impotent then that would be totally different story... If you don't want to use finasteride you could try topical spironolactone.

Don't worry too much about finasteride side effects...

I don't doubt that there is plenty (a majority) who experience no side effects on finasteride... and you're all lucky bastards. I hadn't experienced a morning erection in the 2+ years I was on finasteride. Now that I've stopped things are returning to normal - though there appears to be...

    Propecia sides

I told myself it was in my head for quite a long time. I really wanted that to be true. If it had been solely the act of intercourse that was affected then you could attribute it to performance anxiety feeding off fears that the drug would trouble my sexual health, but when you actually stop...

    Off finasteride for 4 days...

Ok, I started using finasteride (5mg split into 1.25 mg quarters) 2 years ago and over the last year I've really become aware of a reduction in my libido. No morning erections and difficulty in maintaining when I do get erections. I had blood tests done about 6 months ago and everything seemed...

    My results (photos!!)

In the first of his new pictures does anyone else notice a slight change in the colour of the hair between the top and sides? I hope it's just the lighting. I would really like to believe the meds did this, I really would! And I hope they have. It's wonderful if they did. If so, gambit420 must...

If LONG HAIR makes a comeback we're SCREWED!

Well, to be honest I don't think there's one prevailing hair style like there has been in previous decades - and I don't think there ever will be again. Cropped hair is perfectly acceptable, but plenty of guys, especially musicians and fans of various sub-genres of indie continue to favour...

6 years and still have hair MBP NW7..... please read pic

Hi there, great results. Do you mind me asking whether or not you have had side-effects from using dutasteride? Thanks and best of luck.

i want to stop hair loss now

Antonio, are you really sure dutasteride hasn't worked? Haha, I hate to say it, but I don't think I believe you! I mean, I believe that YOU think it hasn't worked, but until we see before and after pics of your hair, I'm not really going to believe your hair - in just one year - has got worse while...

How to get rid of sexual sides of DHT inhibitors

Well, I've been using L-Arginine - about 1 mg per day for 40 days - and I feel it has helped. It hasn't quite brought my libido back to the level I would like it to be, but I think it has helped. I think I might buy some of that NitrO2 stuff that philly mentioned in the first post.

Need remedies to counter loss of libido....

I think L-Arginine is used by a lot of people. Check the Side-effects forum for discussions on countering low libido.

    Propecia vs. Proscar

Ian Curtis? Back from the dead, eh? And suffering from hairloss! People who take Proscar (usually) don't take the full 5mg. They cut the pill into quarters and take 1.25mg. It's much cheaper. Costs me about £5 per month that way; instead of the ridiculous £30 or so for Propecia. Now get back...

News report about smoking and hair loss

I smoke about 3 a day (only 2 today), but more socially, and it doesn't worry me too much. I have no intention in upping the number I smoke per day, and I will probably quit in a few years time anyway. To be honest, I'm more worried about the sexual side-effects of smoking, but I think you need...

    time to seriously reevaluate propecia

Of course you can, I wouldn't say no to a Velvet Underground fan, heh. I was silly and impatient for results. I started finasteride about a year ago, and though I think I was seeing results I decided to hop onto dutasteride. I felt that I hadn't had any side-effects up until that point, so i...

    time to seriously reevaluate propecia

My libido has gone down a lot recently, but I don't if it's just depression or something else. I am a little worried to be honest. I used to take dutasteride, but went back to finasteride after I got worried about side-effects.
