Hi guys, I'm a gal but there is practically no activity on the women's board and you all seem to know more about self mixed products. I was using my own crushed spironolactone in a scalp serum (1%) for a few months and while my hair seemed to be growing back, it's still very thin. I decided to change the...

Yes studies have shown that topical finasteride is a safe and effective alternative to taking oral finasteride.
"Store finasteride at room temperature between 59°F and 86°F (15°C and 30°C) in a tight, light resistant container."
You might have to keep refrigerated if your room temperatures exceed 30°C otherwise the finasteride may degrade and lose effectiveness.

Do you have pure finasteride? Use 100mg of finasteride first dissolved in 50ml ethanol (200 proof), then add 30ml propylene glycol, and top off with about 20ml distilled water to make 100ml of a 1% solution. Put in a cobalt or amber glass bottle with dropper to protect from light.
HI, isn't initial shedding to be expected when switching products or starting a new product? OP didn't state when exactly he started topical finasteride and for what length of time. This information is important to know.
So yesterday I mixed some spironolactone powder with DMSO and added some distilled water. OMG this stuff smells like rotton eggs! I got my nuhair serum in the mail today and warmed it up a little, mixed in the rest of the spironolactone powder (about 1.5 grams) to 90ml of the nuhair serum, and voila, it...
Wow this is interesting! 10 years ago, about a year after my oophorectomy, I was thrown into early menopause at age 29. As you can imagine, I was devastated when I started losing hair. I had breast cancer ERPR+ so I couldn't take hormonal replacement. After some research I found spironolactone...
Hi Cassin, do you know the difference between Hair Signals and Folligen? I read that Hair Signals is the newer and better formula but when comparing ingredients, I don't see a difference. Also Hair Signals is 4 oz/$36.95 vs Folligen 8z/$38.95. I ended up buying Hair Signals on a whim but the...
Hi all, I won't go into my long story because in the end, it's only about what works right? Well this is what I'm using and it's working.
Nuhair kit for women (DHT blocker, Regrowth tabs, Scalp serum)
Professional Image Hair regrowth shampoo (might alternate with Regenepure DR)
leave on 30...
I too have been using Niroral for about a month now and have been losing twice as much hair as before. So this is normal for Nizoral? I've also been using s5 cream only at m hairline and not all over. Please tell me this is normal and I should continue using Nizoral?
I decided to write a review because this seems to be an obscure brand. I've never used hair fibers until now but I was very interested. Unfortunately I couldn't find any brands that had a hair color that would suit mine. My color is a brownish black. So anyway, I found this brand and decided to...
