Hi guys, I'm a gal but there is practically no activity on the women's board and you all seem to know more about self mixed products. I was using my own crushed spironolactone in a scalp serum (1%) for a few months and while my hair seemed to be growing back, it's still very thin. I decided to change the delivery vehicle to 50% ratio of organic 200 proof ethanol, 30% propylene glycol, and 20% distilled water. I used maybe 10-20 drops. Holy hell!!! 1 hr later, it felt like I had a cap on my head that was slowly squeezing my brain along with slight fogginess and headache. I waited another hour thinking maybe it would subside (it didn't) before I washed it off. I'm still feeling slight pressure on my scalp. Can anyone explain what might have been the cause?
