Yeah CPA is honestly not a good idea for most people. Only person with results on it is AnxiousAndy. Would really only be advisable for someone with really high T. But if E is comparatively & relatively low then you should probably just use bica anyways.

True, I was speaking primarily of mono therapy. But even in cases like ADHTor I suspect E2 is what really made the difference in combination with OM

I talked to an antydhtor on a Polish forum 2 years ago. As I rememer he was using 150mg or even 300mg of androcur, 0.5mg of dutasteride and 5mg of finasteride, and 15% of topical minoxidil. He told me that in his case androcur was the only drug that helped, E2 only improve his regrowth. He had previously used dutasteride, finasteride, minoxidil with no effect.

This proves that everyone reacts differently... however CPA for me did nothing.

I told him that im on finasteride and he is pfs believer as nw2 in 60s lol. So I didnt wanna bring anything else to the discussion.
I was on finasteride 4 months, then dutasteride + finasteride for 7 months and I still had sh*t hair, then cypro/spironolactone and e2 and still struggled it only got worse (itching was crazy even on spironolactone+dutasteride+e2) cypro made huge difference but bica was game changer as it achived no itching without e2 use (meaning no feminization)

And everytime I reduce bica dose I get this open wounds opening on thinning parts like this:

and they dont go away for weeks sometimes. They appear when itching gets intense. I wash my hair 2x a day sometimes so its not that also.

I tried everything... finasteride/dutasteride/minoxidil topical oral/RU/Alpicort/CPA/E2 and still thinning. I will give Bicalutamide a chance however I dont think it will work in my case...

Now i dropped E2 and reduced CPA from 12.5mg to 6.25mg. Im using now both 50mg bica + 6.25mg CPA

i was thinking the exact same thing! How do you split the 50 mg cpa to 6,25??Do you have any liver or blood work after cpa use?

I split it with small knife. I dont have any blood test.

Wonder if that might be pityrosporum folliculitis that bica maybe helps regulate sebum production that may have been exacerbating it

When your mom has this much temple and frontal loss you dont really believe in “E2 magic”. Just a reminder that: androgen supression (good AA) >>>> any e2 dose.
She obviously has normal e2 levels, since she is not in menopause.

If you can handle the sides (diuretic sides), yes for cis male its just enough. But for me it was not enough. We have many users here that had great recoveries just on dutasteride and spironolactone, actually some of the greatest recoveries here are just on that combo. Like @AmericanHairlines90

I’ve been on both dutasteride and spironolactone 100 for more than a year now, recently added E2 4mg which made me reach a Norwood 0.5(?), but I had covid in January and I’m experiencing such an extreme hair shedding; wondering whether it’s due to my pills losing efficacy (which I don’t think ‘cause my skin is still dry af plus my gyno has gotten worse (planning to get surgery).

You can always up your spironolactone dose up to 200mg but its not recommended to go over that, if that doesnt work than its time to change to cypro or bica then lower the e2 dose since e2 only helped in further androgen supression IMO, since spironolactone on that dose for normal male hormone range is small dose.

I think I’m gonna wait until April, just to understand where this shedding is coming from, I’m more prone to think it is due to covid, but who knows; if nothing gets better around april, I might start considering bica. Where can I get it from? Prescription is required in Italy + it’s hella expensive
