How the studios are going to handle a bald Superman...

He doesn't look like he has a receding hairline, anybody who doesn't use this forum would agree. And even if it is receding it'll happen slowly, people don't lose all their hair in a year or two years. Takes like a decade, the only guys I know of with such aggressive balding have been members on...

I think my finasteride has either gone bad or I've built up an immunity to the drug.

Its normal for side effects to subside after continued use, its much more likely this occurred than you built up an immunity in such a short space of time. Everyone on this forum is much too paranoid for their own good

    What is diffuse thinning?

This is a forum that discusses hairless problems. It is a valid question and he's entitled to ask us, some forum members are newer than others and don't spend a lot of time researching male pattern baldness like you and I probably do. No need to be so rude

Desperate for some advice on where to start treatment.

Well before you panic please have yourself diagnosed by at least one derm as definitely suffering from male pattern baldness. And if you are suffering from male pattern baldness you will need to start finasteride or you will eventually become bald.

    So mad at hairloss!!!

yup it sucks. But nothing to do except take meds and hope for the best. I don't know if Im balding, but in case I am, and just for general happiness, Im working out and getting to 10% body fat, tanning, growing a beard that suits me, and getting surgery to correct my ears which stick out. If Im...

24 years old, lost over 50% of my hair in a year

Im so happy for you man. And side effects usually lessen in severity as treatment continues, nothing to worry about at all, in fact you should be happy about it cause you can definitely stay on it now

5 months on finasteride, Still Shedding a Ton! Reccomendations?

Wow I never heard about this. Well it is unlucky, it still wouldnt put me off using finasteride though. After all it does help the majority of people to maintain their hair. Just begin use with he mindset that you'll be one the positive responders.

Guilt for passing on bald gene?

Im 20. By the time I even think of having kids Ill be about 35. If I have male sons the earliest he will probably experience balding is about 18, worst case scenario. Thats 32 years away. If the worst comes to worst it'll be the year 2048 when this occurs. I strongly believe there will be a cure...

5 months on finasteride, Still Shedding a Ton! Reccomendations?

I agree that you shouldn't take it unless you need to, but there is no possible reason why taking finasteride would cause that to occur to your hair

I feel like stopping Minoxidil - will I lose my hair?

Oh is 5 minutes of your time seriously not worth it to preserve your thick head of hair? Why take the chance? This question annoys me, theres so many men who are trying so hard with all these meds and would love to be in your position

Is the the start of male pattern baldness??? 20 years old I Need Some Advice, please help me out

You have what I would call paranoia not male pattern baldness. You are showing zero signs of hairline recession
  12. W

    You guys are nuts

That is so ****ing stupid. What 60 year old man has a justin bieber hairline? Only 60% of men are suffering male pattern baldness by age 60. So either the statistics are wrong or you're wrong (hint: you're wrong)

How bad is this? Currently 11 months on finasteride.

I have never seen such even thinning all over the scalp, even back and sides. Have you gone to see a doctor? That is not normal male pattern baldness and could be a health condition causing the los.s.

    Finasteride

Why be afraid? If you're so afraid of side effects just try out the drug to see how it goes and then stop using it immediately if you notice any other side effects.

Worth doing more than the Big 3?

Biotin definitely makes hair appear healthier, doesn't help with sustaining or regrowing though just so you know. Don't waste your time with lasers or rollers. I would add in stress/anxiety relief, possibly meditation, getting good nights sleep is important. Will help with overall mental health...
