How bad is this? Currently 11 months on finasteride.

Hello everyone,

I'm currently about 11 months on finasteride and just started minoxidil again for about 5 days. Iv'e quitted minoxidil, because i was thinking that it didn't do much for me.

I feel like my situation has worsened, especially in the frontal region.

I attached some pics.



How bad is it? I'm a diffuse thinner isnt't it?

I'm also constanly shed on finasteride..

Is there like a huge amount of gel in your hair? I see a wet look. To be honest, your hair seems equally thin everywhere. I mean especially in the third picture I don't really recognize a horse shoe pattern as the sides seem as thin like the top.

Yes iv'e put some wax in my hair on the photos..
What do you exactly means that my hair seems equally thin every where? Is this another kind of baldness?

I have never seen such even thinning all over the scalp, even back and sides. Have you gone to see a doctor? That is not normal male pattern baldness and could be a health condition causing the los.s.

Iv'e seen a doctor a long while ago, for about a year. The doctor tested my blood, and the only thing that came out was a slightly definciency in vitamin D. My test level was about 22.7.

Is it a good approach to visit the doctor again?

My scalp doesn't itch or something like that.

What could be some health conditions that causing my thinning?

*English isn't my first language, excuse me if i made some horrible typo's

I remember that once on in a while, i have some pimples on my scalp tho.

Furtermore, i also shed constantly, i'm talk about ~50.strands every morning. Some of the hars are thick, while others seems to be thin, short and whispy.

You've got a perfect hairline. We need to see pics of your hair dry and combed straight forward.

IMO you don't really seem to have hair loss, simply very "bunched up" hair. What I mean is that it seems from your pictures that your hair clumps together to essentially form extremely thick strands, leaving other parts exposed. If you're worried by all means nizoral shampoo and possibly even finasteride are worth a try, but id suggest simply trying to comb and shampoo a lot.
