yea i was on finasteride a week within noticing my hair falling out, finasteride 'should' keep our hair long enough until something else comes out now, considering its almost 2015. good luck with the finasteride mate, chin up!

chill man. I shed for 7 months straight on propecia (i'm your age), thought it was the end of the world, then one day it just stopped. regrowing lost hair slowly now. Once the shedding stops you'll feel euphoric. Most of it will regrow, just ride it out man. patience is key

yes but you're going to need patience. minimum of 1 year before you can truly assess it's effectiveness

I never had an itchy scalp, I had a horrible ache on the top of my head at the start of treatment. It felt as though the top of my head was badly bruised... hurt like hell. That went away after 7 months

I'm a nw2 and im getting terminal hairs growing in at my hairline corners 10 months on finasteride, this hair was lost in the last year don't know if that makes a difference. More and more just keep coming in... If it continues, at this rate, I may have my pre-male pattern baldness nw1 hairline back... woop

People do you think there will be a pill in our lifetime that grows back all of our hair? I mean all of it, our juvenile hair... similar to that new alopecia pill. that's what I'd call a cure, not hair cloning... I can see all the vellus hair where my juvenile hair was, one can but dream!

Just start with finasteride, minoxidil is a hassle... you can always add it later if needed. Wait a year and you'll probably regrow a lot of that, you can use concealers in the mean time and you will look like you have the hair of a 12 year old
