Fast update from me. Had the willing to stop dutasteride but continued. Had psychical problems cause the frontal thinning. But now the front is thickening! I can see there many new young looking hairs. My barber told me, a week ago, that my hair looks fuller and thicker. Is it the late (14 month!)...

How long did you take finasteride? Whats your hair state? Of course you could try dutasteride but is is a deal with fire - it can destroy the front - at least for the time a shedding lasts. If you took finasteride for a long time - why not. I also took finasteride for 4.5 years - and am now with dutasteride...

@blaze: does roaccutane cause depressions or such things?

I would start with 4x 0.5mg a week. ED is very much and in my eyes not needed. If you get used for this dosage too much after 1-3 years you can still upper to ED.

Balu was taking JUST AND ONLY dutas from the start - and he is getting results.

I wouldn't! finasteride is very weak. Why not using dutas?

Propecia is too weak. Someone needs dutasteride if he has already exhaust finasteride. And i did get much thicker hair with dutasteride than with finasteride - but then shedding. I am now on the road to improve and perhaps hair will get how it was after month 5-6 with dutasteride. Then my hair was so great!

Why do you think so?

I think my front ist getting better again! Did shedd arround months 7-9! But i am using also now Proctor Shampoo, perhaps it is this what makes my front better....who knows? But someone (gabriel) in the german messageboard has written that he did shedd also much, also in the front and after...

I am using epilator 1x/week - no breast hair!

Looks good :D If you cut your hair shorter then no one can see that you are balding...

How much do you take? People say that it works like avodart...then a shedding is possible. I tried S.P. years ago but only for 2 month, then my hair got thin. I personal don't trust in S.P.!
