It does come down to bone structure somewhat. Most Asian-Caucasian pairings are white men with asian women, because asian features are more feminine. Similarly, most Black-Caucasian are Black men with White women, because Black features are more masculine.

However, the norm is white, caucasian, due to how we are socialized and due to cultural and economic hegemony of the United States and European Union. As such members of other ethnic groups start from a disadvantage, but given the broad diversity within ethnic groups these disadvantages will often be overcome.

Race definitely plays a part in attraction, but imo, it tends to be because many facial features that are associated with non-white races (especially Asians, really dark Africans and (maybe/to a lesser degree) the super-Indian Indians) are simply less inherently attractive than western ones. Skin colour has little, to nothing, to do with it. Mixed race people tend to be best looking from my experience, closely followed by Caucasians.

There are definitely cultural trends.

At the moment there is a ridiculous one for women where they are supposed to have a fat *** and a skinny waist.

But even for men - in the 70s it was really cool to be a skinny guy - whereas now a lot of people want much bigger muscles.

My advice to you (sincerely) would be to go and see a doctor. Seriously. See a doctor and tell him about your issues. Try some medication, therapy, something, anything, and stick with it. What are these universal features?

It may be that white people have better diets, and thus are more likely to be facially symmetry. Facial symmetry is very much an indicator of health during pregnancy.
