you're joking right? my hairline doesn't even form a 90 degree angle lol
Your hairline is fine and let's leave at that. Irish pride used to be worried about his hair all time and you have better hair than him. He listened to me and stayed on his medications since 2008 and his hair looks decent still. You need to work on your mental health and get more toned.

this was right before finasteride. How fucked was my hair? I feel like I’m developing male breast tissue and want to come off the drug I’m so bummed out.

Just an update been off finasteride for 2.5 weeks. Gonna take a month off and re-introduce finasteride with lower dose. So far no shedding hair seems fine. How am I looking? Scared to lose ground as one says.

can anyone chime in? Should I be ok with taking a break for a month? I’ve been on finasteride for 3 months. Or should I stay on finasteride.

Taking a break this early on is far from good. If you have no sides just continue.

Does my crown look like it’s getting worse?

Looks the same to me. It also could just be a cowlick. I think you shouldn't stop treatment outright. Have you considered adjusting the daily dose? Maybe bump to .5 a day? .25 a day?
Does it look like it’s thinning in general or just cowlick? I am doing finasteride 1mg 3x a week down from 7x a week.

It's worth a shot. I have yet to start finasteride. I just got blood work done but it wasn't all the work I needed. Setting up appointment with endocrinologist for a detailed baseline. Once I have that I'm going to do .25 a day. If I get sides ill adjust to eod. If I still get sides ill look into liposomal topical finasteride at .025%. I read that worked in early stages but mostly stayed local.

I also am hoping to make it to 2027 or something when all these topical AA get approved or rejected by the fda. I think I'd rather use those with min instead.

Pray for hair cloning in 20 or so years

finasteride 3x a week is more then enough since it stays in your scalp for longer then in blood serum.

So is this more then a cowlick? I think it looks fine from birds eye view but I just realized how horrible it looks from profile view. Any thoughts ?

Been off finasteride for almost 3 weeks, been on finasteride for 3 months so far. Does it look like I’ve lost ground? Or no change? First pic is left side, second pic is right side. Plan to get back on finasteride in may. Haven’t experienced any shedding tbh.

Hairline looks solid to me. But honestly you should get back on. Have you tried these options:
.5 or .25 mg a day
Liposomal Topical finasteride at .025%

Honestly I wish I knew where to get specifically liposomal topical finasteride at .025% because I think people who are in the early stages can get benefits from it and I read it didn't go as systemic. Like 25% reduction of dht in serum but 50% in the scalp. But idk how much weight to put into those studies.

LOL, wait at least 6 month before you post more photos. Not much is going to happen until then due to our hair cycles. You are still a NW1 no change. I serious doubt you will go bald without treatments in the next 5 years. I have been right about many people on this forum for years.

Well should I wait six months to see if my hair worsens then decide to get on finasteride again? I’m not sure if I need treatment yet. I feel as if my hair loss was from some seb derm telogen effluvium. The only thing I’m
Using is regenepure dr once a week for now.
