Really? I think it looks worse. Hair quality feels really stringy and thiner especially at my fringe. Is it possible to lose so much density within 2 months? I feel like i started losing hair way too fast out of nowhere before finasteride. Currently cut back to finasteride 1mg 3x a week.

In your first post on this thread you are clearly balding. It is not so obvious in your most recent pics. Clearly your hair has improved on finasteride. You basically went from almost NW2 to almost back to NW1. Like from NW1.75 to NW1.25 if you wanna "split hairs".

No, I think you should be on it. That upward notching of the temple is early balding, I have that pattern too.

I simply refuse to believe this man is balding. Judging by these poor temple pictures, you can't give any advice. Yeah, his crown looks thin but I'm pretty sure it's a result of the finasteride as it wasn't like that before. He seems to have a rounded hairline, and only that. Please take frontal pictures of your hairline, pulling it back. These pictures are nothing but deceiving.

Rounded hairlines exist. You didn't seem to be balding at all, but you know you best. Just take care to not become like some guy here who hopped on thousands of treatments and now is losing sinks of hair every single day, wondering why

Isn’t square hairline mean no male pattern baldness? Round means male pattern baldness? This was late November. About a month before hopping on finasteride.

Didn't understand. What I meant is that you are not balding lol at least not at the frontal area. The hell, whoever says you'are balding is deadly wrong

Damn ok. Well I feel torn since about 75% ppl say I’m not balding but about 25% think I am. I really need to get insurance to see a derm, US healthcare system is a joke.

I understand your concern since you mentioned your dad is bald. However, I learned the lesson that genetics doesn't indicate anything, it's pretty much a lottery. Maybe, just maybe, your crown seemed a bit thin at the beginning, but your shedding was likely to be T.E, who knows. This picture you just attached is by far the best one, and it shows no symptomer of balding.

The above picture, from the front, is one of the kinds I was talking about the other day.

Now post one with your hair pulled back and pushed behind your ears like above. Take it directly from a profile view. Make sure we can see at least a portion of the ear. Take one of the right and left. Also take one from directly the top down. The one you posted earlier looks fine but honestly that fish bowl angle will ALWAYS make things look weird.

Well, I think you're not balding ... (IDK I might be wrong) but you really have balls of steel to take finasteride without even knowing weather you're balding or not and what's even worse you didn't even see a doctor.
I don't know if gyno is reversible though.

I was so devastated I was shedding lots of hair and I hopped on due to having family
History of male pattern baldness. I should have waited I know I’m insane for just jumping on finasteride.

Yes, you are crazy. No difference. You just need do chest exercises and cut the carbs if you want to get rid of that look. @bluecyclone can show you what to do. Your BMI might be off as you are starting to taking on a pear shaped body which can lead to metabolic syndrome.
