Yeah..I'm open to stuff, I just really don't want to systemically lower DHT (and I know this makes it much harder to keep hair). I also didn't have a great experience with minoxidil years ago when I tried it. Used it for 9 months on my hairline corners...shed very quickly and that hair just never grew back. :/Its not that I don't believe in it, I just found what works for me. You can try Proxiphen from Dr Proctor. Its not cheap but it does work for alot of people who tried it. I use Proxiphen too as I was told I would be a poor responder to finasteride. Dr Proctor claims that Proxiphen is more effective than finasteride according to what he learned in his practice. I do use a keto shampoo and other hair loss shampoos. I use a kitchen sink approach to my situation. You just have to be open to try new things. Most people won't do that.
I just googled Proxiphen (I'd heard about it a long time ago on here). It seems there are two types..one with spironolactone and minoxidil and one with copper ions...are both types an option? I'm in the UK too so would have to get it here.
At the moment I just started (1 month in) doing dermarolling once per week and keto 2% shampoo three times a week. I was thinking of trying to see if i can get any results from and decide if it helped after 3 months, but i know thats not likely to be anywhere near enough on it's own
