18 Months On Finasteride And No Success. What To Do Now?

So I’ve just hit the 18 month mark on fjnasyetide when I first started I had no crown thinning, and my hairline was Probably a nw1.5 and the hairline was starting to thin and rapidly so I jumped on finasteride and nothing really slowed down. At first my libido was low then it got high and it’s stkll high ish now, and since starting propecia I’ve noticed oily skin where I used to have very dry skin. In and after the shower I notice a ton, and I mean a lot of hair on my hair and body from the towel drying my head. When trying to style i get a lot of strands so I really haven’t had a hair cut in awhile but I always used to rock a 1 on the sides and styled up too it’s lretty shaggy now I just wanna know what Norwood I am now and what I should do. There has been no sign of shedding decreasing and I’ve tried nizoral and it makes my shedding worse. Here are some pictures of me now I’ll show you pictures of my hair before finasteride soon but my hair is worse There are my hairline from different days

I mean it’s not terrible but a lot worse than baseline I guess. I used to be able to get a haircut where I would shave right up to my hair line now if I do that it would look so receded

Dude you are NW1! How could you possibly have anymore hair? finasteride probably 'isn't working' because you don't have any hair to regrow. If I had your hair I would be very, very happy. @DoctorHouse please talk sense into this guy like you did with me lol. He really doesn't need to be on finasteride.

Shedding doesn't mean much as long as the hair is growing back. Can you post pics of your hair wet?

So here’s pics of my hair wet the one of a wet picture with very short hair is shortly after I started finasteride with no diffuse loss since then I’ve developed oily skin and I swear my shedding is way way way worse now then before there’s no question

So answer your first question everyone one my dads side is nw0 at age 40-50 everyone on my moms side is bald my moms brother from stories I heard had a bad receding hairline by like 18 yrs old. He wore a toupee in his twenties I believe I’m 22 yrs old and I can’t get an accurate number tbh but when I first started losing hair it was way way less than now like last summer I would run my hands through my hair in the pool and get a couple if I do that now when my hairs wet my hands get covered

Like I just wet my hair and I probably lost 100 hairs if I was to guess my hair loss is definitely diffuse because my whole scalp is a lot thinner than it was even if it’s not terrible yet it’s a lot thinner than when I started
