Sounds good to me. I've been gay my entire life, and if anything, finasteride makes me act more butch. No lie! I'm still gay as can be though.

I've lost 10 lbs while on it. And I haven't changed my eating patterns much. Still sit on my *** most of the time. Anyway, I am down to 135-140 depending on the time of day.

My boyfriend doesn't care. He's got the beginnings of a receding hairline too. We just accept it and move on. I'm doing what I can to preserve what I have with hopefully at least minor regrowth on the crown because I don't want to end up like my dad at this point. And in case you were wondering...

Wash your face every night with Boraxo hand soap. I've used it for years and it does the trick. Buy some neutrogena deep clean astringent also and use it nightly. It takes a couple months of using it but it works. It's not a cure but at least you can deal with it.

I feel old or something, my hair looks terrible. My room mate says my crown is reddish and the rest of my scalp is white. Not sure what this means.

UGH! It does cause hair loss. I wonder if the effect is temporary and goes away after stopping the medication? I tried stopping it and the cystic acne came back in force. Maybe I'll try to decrease my dosage even more. UGH.

Hey same here! I've been on minocin for 3 years and recently dropped my dose after reading it can lead to grey teeth and huge cysts leaving big purple scars. However I'm not sure it causes hair loss, and I don't know if my hair loss is due to minocin either. My suggestion is take the lowest...

I've noticed a decrease in acne. I'm on Minocin for acne and normally I get big giant cystic acne but since I started proscar I haven't. Could just be coincidence but who knows.

I guess finasteride has been fine for me. No side effects really, maybe less of a sex drive but I didn't have much of a sex drive anyway to begin with. I'm just shedding right now. My temples haven't receded much if any but the area on top of my head sure has. I'm not bald bald, but definitely thinning...
