can someone relate for a quick second

i have been on finasteride for about a year now. i started minoxidil in october of 2004, i am currently going through what seems to be the biggest shed yet. i am hoping things will improve. does anyone have any responses about minoxidil sheds and the time line in their regimen in which the shed started and ended. i know everyone is different but any help would be greatly appreciated.

So you're about 6 months into the minoxidil - that sounds like a normal shed to me. I think I'm in the midst of a shed right now, but that's the scary thing, I really don't know if it's a shed. I was using 2% minoxidil for 4 months and then switched to 5%. Within a week of starting the 5% I noticed dramatically increased hairloss. Anyways, the shed is still going strong a month after it started.

I can just grab hair and it comes out... it sucks but oh well. Not jack I can do about it.
