9 month results - Finpecia and Rogaine foam.

Thanks for the comments. I'm 39 in a couple of months and have been noticeably losing my hair since I was 30. Have been using nanofibres to conceal it for the past 5 years but, as you can see, things were getting to the point where I would soon have to shave it all off. For some reason, I...

9 month results - Finpecia and Rogaine foam.

Quite surprised at result to be honest. I take finpecia first thing in the morning with a light protein shake (about 10g of protein) and a cup of tea. Rogaine is applied once daily after I've showered and blow dried my hair. I thought I was having side affects initially in the form of...

    DHI Global

Has anyone used them ? Did a quick search on these forums and nothing came up. Thet make quite bold claims about the superiority of their treatments.

    Before and after nanofibres

The 30g (largest size) lasts me a month and a half - maybe less. I sometimes am guilty of piling it on at the front, but it's not a good look. I've been accussed of dying my hair when I had too much on a few months ago. But it works well enough. It's a big improvement on my natural state.

    Scalpels, needles and blood

That's really good advice. thanks. I assume the surgeon will have experience of patients with my problem, but good to hear advice from those that have actually been through it.

    Before and after nanofibres

Cheers kk1888. Descending into baldness inspires me to do those extra few reps at the gym too. Good luck with Nanogen.

While I'm in a sharing mood, here's an "after" photo in more flattering lighting.

    Before and after nanofibres

Here's my hairline before and after nanofibres. I use wet gel to add texture, give a quick spray of hairspray all over, apply nanofibres to the crown and forehead and then use hairspray again. It does an immense job of the crown but the hairline is a real hassle. I use cotton buds and baby...

    Scalpels, needles and blood

Hi, I've been considering a hair transplant for some time now, but I have a history of not coping very well with needles or minor surgery (I passed out twice whilst getting a small mole removed, and typically faint if I have to get blood tests - butch, I know !) I'd obviously advise the hair transplant...

    I'm scared... (with pictures)

While you're waiting for it to grow, Toppik (or some other concealer) would probably do a really good job on that part of your head. It's a bit more tricky to use on the front of the hair, but I find it does an immense job on the back. Good luck

    Farjo

Thanks for the feedback guys. I anticipated that my choice would be criticised on these forums (maybe rightly!) but I was hoping that someone that had had a procedure done at Farjo would come forward to defend his work. My own situation is that I'm a "Norwood 3" and ideally would like FUE over...

    Farjo

I have decided to go for a consultation with Farjo in the very near future, and would be interested to hear any comments from anyone that has had a hair transplant from him. I've had a brief look through the forum and appreciate that there is a strong bias towards travelling abroad for this...
