I think it would only stunt body and facial hair, your bones only have 5 alpha reductase type 1 so I doubt you would see a stunting of bone structure. If you hit puberty early you should be fine, but waiting until 18 is probably best.

Yeah you can grow your beard hair with minoxidil. I've heard that the hair should keep growing because of testosterone but I'm not sure if that would happen to someone taking finasteride.

Based on the pseudohermaphrodite model, if you take finasteride before being able to grow a full beard then your facial hair development will likely be slower/sparser than normal.

Started finasteride .25mg ED a month ago. I had been shedding for two years with tons of miniaturization on the crown, but oddly enough my juvenile hairline was and still is intact. The shedding has finally stopped and the painful itch is gone, thank god for finasteride.

It looks like a "mature hairline" but for many guys this means that it'll stay like that for a few years and then start receding/thinning again. I don't think many dermatologists would be willing to prescribe finasteride at this point.

I talked to my derm about this since I'm experiencing the same thing. No gyno or hard lumps, but just stubborn chest fat and puffy nipples. According to her, if you get this from propecia you absolutely have an endocrine problem and should get bloodwork done asap.

I cut doseage down to .25mg ED and the puffiness has gone down slightly but is definitely still there. I'm quite sure that the puffiness wasn't there before taking the medicine.

Puffy nipples after the second day of 1mg ED. Cut dosage down to 0.25 ED and puffy nipples haven't gotten any better or worse.

You have nothing to worry about, you're past the point of treatment and you look really good with a shaved head. Just lose weight and you will look better than most guys with hair.
