Did some crazy sh*t go down with sandalore I don't want to spelunk through 100 pages of that
@Jamesdunn is getting respectable and consistent growth, and a few others as well, temple growth at that. It clearly works but it's the same question as always: "For how long?" If minoxidil didn't lose it's effectiveness over time it would be a complete cure, no doubt, so even if sandalore moves at a tenth of the speed (which it doesn't, it seems to be working surprisingly fast actually) as long as it keeps up forever it's an eventual cure. So that's basically why people are excited, it's something that actually works and we're hoping it will keep working

I was under impression some one proved minoxidil induced neogenisis and patented it in 2005 ish ?

That may have been done. I'm not sure about that. But the primary thing minoxidil does is prolong the growth stage of the hairs' cycling.

So you do not belief in 'permanent' maintenance? Or do you belief that the wounding process can maintain your hair?

No, the gains from needling would not be directly dependent on more needling just to hold up. These are wounding-based gains. The gains made in this category seem to linger for at least several years with no further help. Sometimes it can even create all-new follicles.

But the balding process doesn't stop just because you needled some hair back into an area. You would want to continue at least some amount of needling just to fight the perpetual hair loss process.

This thread blows up in 3....2....1

2x per day at what needle length? Did you achieve erythema (scalp redness) with every roll? Any adjunct treatments (like minoxidil or finasteride)?

Wow! Do you have before treatment pics taken from above or closer? Cant really tell if you had really thin hair on the front or were slick bald.
I'd bet on the latter by the looks of it ;)

yes 2 every day. I put minoxidil twice a day. before I use dermaroller and i finish i put minoxidil now.
last year if i dont put twice a day no more 10 days.

I start with 1.0 mm. the more cheap dermaroller that you can buy in all place.
Now i go to doctor and the say to use finasterida too. I'm using for 1 year no more.

I started the treatment with minoxidil only for a maximum of 6 months beginning of 2017. After I went into the study of baldness I added dermaroller 1 time per day. After I felt the body adapt I started to do it 2 times a day.
my treatment is
dermaroller for 5 minutes, medium strength and no bleeding.
after, I apply minoxidil.
today includes scalp massages for a few minutes in the morning, afternoon and evening.
use finasteride and dietary supplement.
I'm using google translator

So you got these results without finasteride?

Use finasteride at 1 year on the advice of your doctor.
but my hair grew without finasteride.
use since finasteride decreases the fall.
minoxidil and dermaroller help to grow hair.
finasteride decreases the fall so one complements the other
This treatment takes 10 minutes each session, total 20 minutes a day.
minoxidil should stay in the hair for 24 hours. I always shoot when I take a shower to put it on again.
