You are a Saint man. Going to order alchemy soon, I haven't had any side effects from finasteride yet but I want to see the effect of alchemy on my body composition.

Would you try a cycle of Cabaser, AI, or Selegiim with RU or only serum AA like propecia? @Athlete1987

Thinking of a low dose cabaret as a safety protocol with RU. No sides yet after 3 weeks.

Its been pretty great. No sides as of yet. In terms of changes my body has leaned out. Strength has increased modestly. Muscles feel harder. Libido has increased a decent amount(definitely not at the level I'm sure cabaser would cause but still a solid increase).

Bluecyclone - I would expect they would work to protect against RU58841 but there are caveats.

Please don’t think of any of those 3 as though they are some kind of antidote/opposite to finasteride. Rather two work via dopaminergic pathways while the third is going to help via its effects on estrogen and boosting testosterone.

However while their action is not gonna change just because it’s a different anti-androgen you’re using I wonder if what you’re using is in any way close to pharmaceutical quality or tested etc. Let’s face it, you’re rolling the dice in a big way with RU58841.

Still, if it’s real RU58841 and you’re absorbing any significant amount systemically (not saying that it does/that you will) then you’re gonna be dealing with a magnitude of side effects that is far more severe than finasteride as it’s a much more extreme drug to be using for hairloss.

Verbs - YMMV but I didn’t find either Arimidex or Femara as good for the purposes described by me for Alchemy (body composition, strength, libido).

They will take care of estrogen, that’s assured, so if that’s your concern then either would work at least as good as Alchemy. However, both have significant side effects wrt blood lipids, bone density and I never noticed anything but an adverse effect on libido.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2361692/

The point around recommending Alchemy is because a prescription AI is a bad idea in my book and given there is an effective alternative, I don’t know why anyone would risk using them.

Kash Money - Thanks for sharing. It’s great to know you’re getting those benefits. I think the manufacturer probably recommends cycling off but you could probably stay on/probably should stay on as unlike a normal guy whose not on finasteride, your estrogen levels will be abnormally high without it.

I don’t know if I mentioned it earlier, lol I’ve written a lot, but if you did switch up to cabaser you’d still get a protective effect from it against the gyno possible via finasteride albeit it’s not exactly like for like in how the two protect you. You’re right though, it would provide a charge to your libido beyond anything else in the world - that includes if you were taking testosterone itself at supra physiological doses.

Hi all... has been awhile and wanted to give an update. I'v been on Cabaser for over a month now and where before. I had lost interest in sex altogether and when I forced myself my orgasms were weak, it' been quite different now. The combination of Cabaser (definitely increased libido) and ED drugs (just spent over $400 at Evo) have really changed my life around. Orgasms now are like from my early 40s (going to be 56 this year); that nice feeling of electricity almost and yes, my share of "oh my god" in succession is just amazing. He'll, hurt my shoulder last night and got a cramp in my foot a few nights ago.. so loving this!! I was depressed before but thanks to Athlete and others ( I'd owe you my firstborn if I had kids lol) my life is getting back to normal. I'm going to get my DHT levels tested as I had been taking over the counter testosterone supplements, but perhaps between this and PFS my T levels are goid.. first time in years. Only side effect is the constipation and bloating however I suffered from the latter before Cabaser and periodically the former also. So I try to drink plenty of water and use a vegetable laxative so I'm fine. I know Cabaser isn't cheap but doing the dosage of .5mg every 3 days means I will have a supply for quite some time. Thanks for giuving me my life back!! Now if you know of a way to reverse wrinkles I shall worship at an alter created in your hoonor!!

So I figured I should post, I began taking Alchemy just yesterday, haven't felt any difference yet, what kind of change if any should one expect if they are having symptoms from finasteride? Figured i'd try it solo before going for Cabaser as well.

Could you maybe share more about your finasteride and PFS experience?

Procar2017, I really appreciate your comments, that’s gratifying to know it’s made such an impact for you. It’s funny but when I read back at the beginning of the thread there were a lot of sceptics but hopefully guys like you are winning them round.

Now, lol, believe it or not I actually do know of something regarding wrinkles.

I actually get a cream compounded for my wife and she’s got good results off it. Its not really something I’ve thought about much beyond that. That said, I am going to potentially work on bringing it to market at some point if I ever get the time.

However, I’d suggest growth hormone for you as it’s got benefits way beyond a cosmetic. Evopharmacy sell growth hormone too.

    https://www.evopharmacy.com/pd-growth-hormone-hygetropin-100iu.cfm

Not cheap but then again it’s 1/4 the price of the Pfizer version.

If using it, try it at a low dose only, say 2.5IU daily. Use for 1 week and pay careful attention to:

    Sleep quality should improve
    Skin texture (should feel velvety)
Muscle tone (should feel naturally pumped in the deltoids/biceps etc)
    Libido can go up
Aches and pains will dissipate (what I call feeling old aches and pains that you never got when you were 20)
    Fat loss should improve

All that aside, I’ll tell you a secret which is everyone I know first wants to use GH for reasons like body composition but the thing that makes them keep using it is the improvement in mood/energy and day to day wellbeing.

If you try it, you’ll definitely enjoy it. In fact as much as cabaser might have helped in one area, GH will transform quality of life in several.

Catch 21 - Expect nothing in a day. After a week the things to each out for with Alchemy include:

    1. Compare how your face looks now vs in a week. In a week it should look more defined due to water retention being reduced.

    2. Depending on how lean you are, you’ll be able to tell a difference with your midsection by then.

    3. The muscles in your deltoids/biceps/triceps should feel both fuller and harder and if lean enough, more vascular. Strength endurance should improve around then.

    4. CNS effects like focus, libido, strength expression in the gym, competitiveness, motivation, that alpha male type of feeling ought to start to be noticeable then.

Pigeon - Suggest you read back from the beginning but the two are not the same class of medicines at all.

Athlete1987 - any thoughts on mk-677 as a GH booster? The Soma is so expensive

Ibutamoren isn’t really cheap either though + most American supplement brands have discontinued it because it’s very legally risky to sell as:

    a) It’s definitely not DSHEA compliant in a million years.
    b) Anyone selling it is infringing a pharmaceutical company’s patent so you’d have to think such a company is shady as hell right, so why trust them with what’s in the label?

    c) Any brand selling it will be importing powder via China and tons of examples where Chinese powders isn’t what it seems + those selling it won’t be testing it to see what they are really selling you.

    d) The long term sides of Ibutamoren have not been studied. Whose to say if it doesn’t have a risk in future. This is a research drug after all and do you really want to be the one to be the guinea pig)

Taking the above into account I’d always take growth hormone myself. It’s more effective than ibutamoren, or any of the countless other peptides touted for GH elevation and the only reason you’d want to consider anything else is cost. If you’re willing to accept the riders that come attached to ibutamoren though, then it might still be a good option if you can’t afford GH (one thing I’ve seen time and again though is that once people see the benefits of GH they stop considering the price point high anymore simply because even at $250-$300 per 100IU it is good value for money).

All that aside, one reason I wasn’t sure whether to answer Procar on the wrinkle query was that I thought it might get others to conflate what i said on GH/cosmetic cream with the original purpose of the thread.

IOW, if your primary focus on this thread is to address finasteride/anti-androgen related sides then GH, while it will help somewhat with libido/cognitive function isn’t really something I’d suggest is gonna do that much for AA sides. If you’re interested in it based on my last comment just be clear in your own head that it’s primary benefits won’t be to mitigate AA sides.

    INT - My PFS symptoms

I was on Finasteride for about 2 months.. was a larger dosage as it was for shrinking my prostate (I think it may have been a daily dose of 2mg). One morning I noticed that my testicles looked smaller and at first I thought it was due to it being cold..but even after taking a hot shower it was the same. In addition, my libido, though not roaring as when I was in my 20s, had dropped off to nothing at all. And finally, while trying to have sex, I couldn't maintain an erection (even when taking ED drugs like Cialis) and, as someone described in another forum, I felt totally detached..my mind kept wandering while during the act.. was weird.

Told my doctor (I had explicitly asked prior if there were any sexual side effects and he said no), threw out the pills..and that was in October (took them full month of September and most of October) but symptoms remained. So prior to seeing this forum and Athlete's regimen, I was not in a good place.

Cabaser initially was a challenge for me, but by the 3rd week, against my doubts, and to Athelete's credit, I started to feel horny (and especially at my age it was a miracle). It would come and go but eventually evenend out to something normal, and with that and ED drugs, started to be able to have sex again. But the nice effect was that I really felt the orgasms vs. prior it was pretty weak. I did a blood test and my estradiol levels were normal but prolactin was high and testerone was in the high normal range. I knew something was wrong because for years my T levels were low and had talked to my dr the las few years about maybe taking a T supplement so I know PFS did impact me, especially the prolactin.

Hope that helps.. first the dr told me it would take a couple of weeks for PFS symptoms to go away after I stopped using it, but then 3 months went by so another urologist said "oh, give it 5 months"... I told him of cases of people who had symptoms for years after but he dismissed it..nervously.. it's about 5 months now and I don't know what it would be like without Cabasar but I'm unwilling to take that chance. I'll eventually cycle off for a time onto something different

    Hope that helps!!

Believe me Athlete, I was on vacation for 3 weeks at home in December last year and was sooo depressed. This literally changed my outlook on life (hell, even my wife the other night woke me up at 2am! Told me since I'm "back", we might as well pick up where we left off!). She was getting sad about the whole thing at one point thought I had lost interest in her..so yeah, your treatment helped me personally and my marriage.

I've started on the alter, though we'll have to forego the human sacrifices, they sort of frown on that here in the states and I don't think I'd last a day in prison lol!!! And here you are with yet more great advice! Bring that cream to market and you have a customer! I'm also going to try GH.. the results seem remarkable (it's amazing how as you get older you all of a sudden get these aches/pains for no reason at all!!)

Evopharmacy is going to get all of my money lol!!!

As usual, thanks a million.. and keep up the good work with the advice...and I'll post a picture of the alter once its done!!

Procar don't be disappointed. When I was 21 I took finasteride for 50 days. It took more or less 6 months for sides to disappear completely. I had severe sides, no erection, no libido, my dick shrank, it felt like a foreign body and one of my nipples was hurting (signs of gyno?)

    It’s listed by this brand

    https://www.predatornutrition.com/shop-by-brand/hydrapharm

It was actually through their preworkout (best I’ve tried) that I came across Alchemy in the first place. To paraphrase the late, great Apollo Creed, Alchemy works great, but Hydrazine is a great fighter....or something like that lol.
