@Swoop I respect your thoughts so that's why I want to ask you how confident you are that this treatment could be effective?

I've glanced at Replicel time and time again and Dr. Rolf Hoffman and their data have not convinced me. Them saying it was a small test dose or w.e seems like a bad excuse - they've had over 10 years to work on this.

In the 2015 interview with hellouser, all his answers seemed to lack decisiveness. He said things like "let's see", "we don't know that yet", "repeat procedure a year later/who knows?".

Further on from this, he seemed really pessimistic about cure-like treatments coming any time soon when asked at the recent gathering of hair specialists in Georgia.

Also we mention Lee Buckler a lot but I don't think he knows a lot more than all of us. He communicates well but he is not a Doctor at the end of the day.

The fee Shiseido paid for the Replicel technology was pennies for such a huge company. I think $4 mill. The cynic in me is thinking this was what Replicel were seeking all along, a big money pay-out.

Some might say that Shiseido have built a research facility so they must be serious, well if it didn't pan out they could convert it or perhaps they would continue pursuing hair research.

The bolded part is actually correct. David Hall said his goal was to get big pharma interested. The ideal situation for them was to get bought out by a Pfizer or w/e which would have resulted in a payoff for the founders as well as the opportunity to develop this further.

Hopefully we get to see that interim data too in Q1 2017 :).

I just hope their idea of an exciting decision isn't a massive boost to their tendon and skin treatments at the expense of RCH-01.
You know - knowing our luck.

But seriously, it better be good. Just barely holding out for some good news here.

Replicel has a male pattern baldness-trial running? I thought they got accused over breach of contract by Shiseido for not having one? Would be awesome news in itself that replicel is alive.

I feel the exact same way that you do. I am sick of the absence of news.

well ppl u r not gonna like this but it's going to take more than a year for sure. (2018 that's a long time)

Upside - they are still updating and not making up or lying and they promised to show photos (yep, that's all we need). Since they are so sincere in their trials, i don't think they are scams. They are onto something big maybe. RCH01 may show regrowth to an extent if not full head hair and that is far better considering the medications that we have now.

Downside - won't be getting any visual updates in 2017 from them just data and data and moreover, we are lacking patience.
will try to contact histogen next time but man, they take a lot of time to reply. (i almost forgot i asked replicel all these until it popped up today suddenly from nowhere)

I appreciate your effort but these companies don't like being approached by forum members.

There was an issue a few months ago with Histogen where a forum member said he represented the forum and sent a list of questions to Histogen. Histogen nor the admin were too happy about it.

Best to leave contacting them to others.

Just my $0.02.

Indeed! Very wise.

However, this just means that Brotzu is now the only hope to provide immediate relief.
