Just had my first sesh, didn't think it was that bad. Maybe I didn't roll hard enough? I didn't press down hard enough to bleed. I can definitely feel the irritation now though, its itchy.

Should my scalp be really sore after? Sorry if its already been asked a million times.

Totally! I just rolled my whole head including my face. 3.0mm for the temples, 1.5mm for everything else. I used numbfast. I applied it then rolled it right away. Works really good. Maybe with a .50 mm first then the numfast, probably have better results from the cream but I am really impressed.you can still feels the needles but way way less painful. I can feel the heat coming out of my face LOL. NUmbfast is awesome!

i tried them all non will work only xylocream or emla . apply a thick paste of it and wait an hour before numbing occurs.
Dr. Numb did absolutely nothing for me.
And that's 5% lidocaine as well.

sweet. the pain of the 1.5 really sucks. ill give it a try

Works really good, Apply it right after a hot shower, your skin is more permeable, also you can use a 0.50 mm first to get a better absorption. I was able to use a 3.0mm on my temples with no pain with weight on the roller. It activates in the skin pretty damn fast..

I also apply Hyaluronic Acid after treatment with the derma roller. You can buy the raw powder in bulk everywhere and it is really easy to make..

Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar, known as a glycosaminoglycan, and is found throughout the body. It is particularly prevalent in connective tissue, the synovial fluid around joints, the eyes, the heart, the intervertebral spinal disks and the skin.
It transports nutrients to cells and removes toxins, it acts as a cushioning agent, it lubricates joints and, importantly for the skin care industry, it facilitates water retention in body tissue. In fact, hyaluronic acid can absorb more than one thousand times its weight in water.

The using it in clinics where they practice induce collagen therapy ( Micro-Needling).

For those in Europe who can't/won't buy the numb cream from USA that squeegee, Amazon offers you a wide range of different numb creams: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...eld-keywords=numb+cream&rh=i:aps,k:numb+cream - I'll be buying one of them soon.

I got them from Ebay. Bought 3 of them at the same time. I "low balled" the seller with an e-mail.

@squeegee

How is your results so far? and how long have you been using the derma roller?

Really good so far! I went through an huge shed around the 10 weeks mark.. But recovering successfully.. I am at what.. 17 weeks.. if it continues like that, the results will be radical at the 6-8 months mark.

That's awesome to hear! Happy for your success. You will definitely inspire a lot to start then. Do you have any plans to post some pictures of your results at some point? (if you not already did that)

I will post pictures when fully recovered from that stupid shed.. I didn't take any pictures of my whole pumpkin when I first started but will use some of my ID's ... Derma roller works. We just need to focus on being consistent and patient. Hair takes forever to go back in business.

That guy pretty much proved it that long-term derma rolling pays off :

Regrowing the whole juvenile hairline is impressive.
