I evaluated my hairline today and I continue to see new regrowth further down. My right temple is sprouting new hair. I am on my 3rd solution of RU . I aslo continue to use apple poly.

it wouldn't make it cheaper. with only one supplier they could raise the price by a couple hundred and you guys would still probably try it.

As long as it is not approved by FDA for hair loss, or at least a couple of clinical trials to prove its effectivness, being expensive does not mean they are making profit of it.

I think if there was a "plug-n-play" solution commercially available, it would give much more profit to the company than it does now. Even if the cost was 100$ for a month supply. Like the ridiculus price of dr. proctors proxiphen. It may be a good solution, but fairly overpriced.

And i am still wondering, why isnt there a commercial RU solution, since it has such great chances to be a very effective drug?

he does not know, nobody really does, same with dosage, application, this is all self experimentation, which is hardly scientifically ethical

They have done small human studies. Just nothing long term. RU is quickly metabolised to a form the researchers did not find harmful. The anti-androgenic effect is strictly local.

Anyone can make it. You don't need to know chemistry. You just buy the everclear and propylene glycol and mix it up. The only chemistry you need is the basics for the dosing. assume 1mL is 1g. 5g RU per 100mL of solution is 5% RU. It is useful to have a scale to weight out the RU, but you can estimate 5g to be half a tea spoon. I'll give you a better number when I mix it up tonight.

what alcohol though?, what mixture? what percent? and he is talking about mixing in some type of apple juice too... i mean, drug mixtures are specific for a reason, he could be totally ruining the RU or lessoning its effects, or worse, something that is detrimental to the skin

Ethyl alcohol. 50/50 alcohol/propylene glycol. A 5% RU solution. It's all very straightforward. No mystery involved here.

How long did it take Owense to respond to your initial email? I tried to email him at the two emails he uses and he hasn't responded, it's been 3 days. Maybe he is on vacation or something, but i wanna start the RU as soon as possible.

Sorry I'm another 5 days later than I last said. I procrastinated through Thursday, and because of the new year the post office has been closed since then, I think. But I have the bottle thawing on the table now and I'm heading over to the lab now to mix it up. I'll make 4 small bottles, mail 2 to the two people who gave me there addresses, and save the other two in the fridge a few days until the third guy gives me his address and i pick a 4th guy.

Hey CCS, are you selling any of the RU? I'm about to try and by 10 grams cuz i can't find anyone else to go in on some, but if you are selling I would definitely prefer that. If you are selling, how many grams are you selling?

3 guys already claimed a total of 8g. Of the 2 left, I have to read through this thread and see who had last dibs on it, since I was not able to find a guy with a camera. You can save 10g in your freezer. Just use enough zip lock bags and you will be fine. The only reason to go in with someone on it is if you live pay check to pay check or you are affraid it won't work and just want to use a test spot.

And bubka, it is not part of my regimen because it is too expensive. Some people swear by it, but a long time ago after I just ordered it, I think is when Bryan stated that even castration does not grow a lot of hair back. Castration only stops 95% of androgens, though. I'd just like to see how it works on other people before I pay $60+ per month.

Well, one of the reasons I'm reluctant to buy 10 grams right away is because it's so expensive. And over at HLH there are a few guys that say RU gave them really bad sides. One guy said it made him feel horrible. Even tho this seems to be a very small number of people, I would hate to pay all this money for it and then find out quickly I can't use it because of sides. But I guess if that happens I'll try to sell it on the forum or something.

Hey Newbaldy, i saw earlier that you use vodka in your RU blend. What kind of vodka do you use? And what about the PPG? Where do you get that? CCS, I'm assuming you get both alcohol and PPG from chemistrystore.com, am I right?

I get PG at the chemistry store, and ethanol as everclear 190 at the liquor store. The chemistry store does have a good price, but it is usually out of stock.

I bought PPG from ebay and vodka from some chemistry website that CCS told me about.

Just to update I am on my 3 solution and things are getting better and better.

how much of a pain is it to apply? do you have it in a cream or a liquid?
