okay .. but I think the important thing is the dht not the testosterone ... and we are not talking about whether it becomes systemic or not, but about efficacy in therapy. side effects aside I think finasteride or dutasteride should be coupled to a stronger AA, see spironolactone-cyproterone-bicalutamide. otherwise I find it hard to win or draw the battle. I always speak from personal experience do not get me wrong .. then luckily each one is different from the other and maybe just dutasteride can be enough for him
DHT ofc is more important but balance is key here. Dutasteride isnt even fda approved for hairloss. Finasteride by itself blocks 70% of serum dht and dutasteride 90%. Its only a 20% difference. Yet dutasteride raise scalp T by 100 and 200%, while finasteride only by 23-24%. T is the weaker androgen but still can shrink hair. We are sensitive to androgens not just DHT.okay .. but I think the important thing is the dht not the testosterone ... and we are not talking about whether it becomes systemic or not, but about efficacy in therapy. side effects aside I think finasteride or dutasteride should be coupled to a stronger AA, see spironolactone-cyproterone-bicalutamide. otherwise I find it hard to win or draw the battle.
