Accutane was a waste of time for me i tried it for 6 months in 2017 lol, Bicaludamide is like a miracle for me and you, i can feel a pimple forming on my shoulder but its just 1 and its not like before where i would have 30 new ones every 2 weeks i am mostly acne free now.

Before, I would get a new pimple on my face every few days! I would never get a break from acne, and the scars would continue to build up... If you look back on this thread, I would try to defend Accutane but I can no longer do that... It really is a dangerous drug!!!

I have maintained my weight as 59KG to 60KG by following a somewhat strict diet. It's not strict where I cut out important foods or sugar, but it's strict in terms that I properly think out my meals and make sure that I am not overeating.

How many calories are you eating per day?
my bmr is kinda high because iam tall and work a physically demanding job so i will need 2500 to just maintain my frame, but i wanna cut it down to 1300 where i can lose muscles because fast weight loss causes muscles loss compared to slow steady one, iam losing ton of hair from the diet shock, but it is temporary unlike male pattern baldness where the follicles are bye bye and fucked for life

Don’t put your self into diet shock, you will destroy your metabolism... Just try to eat around 1800 per day, rather than 1300.

I wish I could use an e-check in IHP, but that’s only allowed for Americans...
it is worse in Canada, you can expect your meds to be destroyed on the way because it is illegal to order meds without prescription as everything must be approved by the family doctor, this is actually lead me to self castration because i couldn't order spirolonactone, and my family doctor thought iam crazy that i wanna get rid of testosterone for hair, so he prescribed finasteride and a stupid shampoo, lol so later they had to cover my orchiectomy and all meds including estrogen pills for life time, i feel guilty for hacking the system and getting everything for free but i had no choice, f*** baldness!

My ‘hair specialist’ thought I was crazy by saying finasteride is not a good hair loss medication. And she tried inferring that I wasn’t knowledgable, and that I should just listen to her because she’s a ‘doctor’. I don’t listen to any of my doctors anymore, I just share ideas with my dermatologist and endocrinologist because I was lucky enough to have ones which were so great and accepting, and were willing to try to get me bicalutamide prescribed. I can’t even thank my endocrinologist and dermatologist enough for at least listening to me, and were willing to research about the medications, and were curious about the medications. I felt comfortable enough to tell them that I am already self-medicating, in which they asked if I wanted monitoring in which I accepted. I think doctors NEED to be more accepting of people’s requests, because they don’t understand or know about the mindset we have. It could lead to the worst possible outcomes, and it’s unfortunate... They NEED to take people like us seriously, rather than pushing it aside and making us feel hopeless...

My doctor wouldn't even prescribe me finasteride....forced to go down the online route instead.

Where do you live?

I mean India is a shithole, no doubt. But a person with money can do literally anything here. I find it way more fulfilling here than living in over-regulated socialist countries. A dermatologist I had online consultation with prescribed me Finasteride.

Re taking us seriously, lol. I was told by my dermato who literally had exactly 2 hair, that losing hair is "natural".

Cancer is a natural thing, yet that requires medical attention... I do not take any advice from any doctor at this point, there isn't a point since the only advice they can give is what they were taught, and what they were taught is: finasteride, minoxidil, DHT. I live in Europe!

I think we need to eat more almonds, eggs and not use technology because technology causes radiation and that causes hair loss

Every single GP seems to tell their patients that they have an iron deficiency, even if they haven't had a blood test...
