As someone who is attracted to men I will say that buzz cuts rock, but idk about on guys with hair loss.

Lower NWs (NW1-3) doesn't really change my opinion of their looks as long as they know how to style it right. In that case buzz cuts are probably not to your benefit.

For example, Jude Law with a buzz cut = attractive, but still kind of 'meh'. Jude Law with a little bit of styled hair = give me your babies.



It's at the NW4 and above point that hair loss starts to seriously impact appearance, imo. At that point shaving/buzzing is necessary and you have to focus on other ways to frame your face (facial hair).

Buzz cuts look good when your temple points and hairline is on point. Looks like crap when the Norwood u shape is visibe.

Lower Norwood on the 2-3 scalp should go for a high and tight side parted faux hawk. Sides should be tight and tapered to give less of a receded look. Back to front would be short and more layered at the front.

Buzz cuts are good for higher Norwood that don't have optional styles without looking like crap. Even then I don't recommend a buzz all over. Ideally you want to emphasize on a ranger style military cut. Tapered sides, back and crown with gradual hair leading to the front. Less is more style approach

Some men are fine with it, but I could never be in a relationship with a woman who is not crazy about my looks. I have many times before, and it's a pain.

I don't care if she finds me incredibly funny and interesting, I want her to get wet over my appearance alone. That's the basis of a healthy relationship in my opinion.

The compatibility of personalities is also important, but I think how much the girl melts over your looks is as important.

I think that's the reason so many women are unhappy in their relationships or marriages.

They bought the lie that they're such good girls if they choose the man they're less attracted to but who has a great personality.

At a point, they will start to resent him for not looking like the men who make her wet.

The question for those of us who will never make a woman wet is: what do we do? You, with your (semi) model looks, are attractive to many girls. Then there are those of us (SOMEONE has to be 1-2/10) who are just unattractive to all. I guess coupling is just not in the cards for us. :sad:

There is a guy at work who is cursed like me. Very bright, but aesthetically screwed. I wish I could have a real conversation with him about this.

Problem with Japan is everybody under 40 is a Norwood 2, a huge proportion NW1, it will really make you feel like ****. Only people in Japan with noticable hair loss are in their 40s or 50s. And supposedly Japan has the highest prevalence of male pattern baldness in east Asia...
