Looks fine, you're on treatments now so no need to take and post progress pictures everyday as there wont be any significant changes. Every 3-6months is when you should take and compare/post progress pictures.

so you think my crown looks normal? Not thinning?

updating. After 3 weeks on finasteride my shedding has stopped. Can finasteride work this fast? I also been using nizoral 3 times a week and my scalp inflammation has gone away due to seb derm. I feel like I was just shedding due to seb derm or a fungal infection. Can seb derm cause temporary hair loss?

Nice that the shedding has stopped. There may be more btw so don’t get surprised.

Seb derm can contribute to shedding

Why does seb derm cause hair loss? My hair is also regrowing a lot in places it was shed badly. So I’m so shook right now. Can keto shampoo really have helped me?

It doesn’t directly cause hair loss as far as I know. It might hinder hair growth though through inflammation

Are you sure? I hear that the inflammation can cause instances of acute Telogen Effluvium in seb derm, which is what I think I might have, or else I wouldn’t be getting regrowth already.

Do you have Telogen Effluvium? I mean does your hair get pulled out easily? If you do have it then it might have been triggered by seb derm, but I doubt it would cause any significant hair loss.

Calm down dude. It's just a shedding phase. You'll only see the results in 6-12 months IF you have any
I’ve been shedding before finasteride though. It’s been everywhere throughout scalp even in donor area. I noticed today hair looks fuller again. I think I might have had some shock loss from Telogen Effluvium or seb derm, and yes hair was easily falling out. I had these same patterns of hairloss back when I finished accutane.

Yes we shed naturally before finasteride, but during it it increases. You're a diffuse thinner like me, but also have temple recession.

I thought I was diffuse but I think it’s getting a lot better. I can’t quite tell why.

Yes our hair is weird. One day it feels like sh*t, the other day it feels amazing. Remember our hair are all in different phases of growth, wether they're thinning or not. That explains different textures everyday. But in baldness the cycle gets shorter, so the felling it's different everyday is even bigger.

Well idk wtf is going on, I’m seeing hairline gradually regrowing and less inflammation and top of head is more dense. Nizoral probably lifted my seb derm or fungal
Infection but I don’t want to be too optimistic yet...

if it's growing or your a hyper responder to finasteride or it's recovering from Telogen Effluvium

Your temples are thick AF, but they're receding, that's a lucky pattern to have, my left temple literally disappeared in the space of 6 months, if you stay on Finasteride, your hair will be safe for a long time lol, considering you're 26 and only have mild thinning

DW about the sheds, you'll be fine, just have faith in the meds, you're doing the most you can do for your hair by taking finasteride, just try to focus on your normal life and try not to fixate about your hair, and soon you will find you don't have to think about hair loss at all, because finasteride is doing it's job
