Yeah, there’s recession, but you have thick hair so I wouldn’t be too worried. Looks to be approaching Norwood 2. Just stay the course with finasteride, it should keep you safe for a few years at least

What exactly makes it a 1.5 and not a two what do I look for? Am I likely to see maintenance of hair for life or just a few years?

You see how in the Norwood two the forelock or frontal part of the hairline is narrower than in Norwood 1? Watch for thinning that would lead to that shape. So the side of your forelock and growing temples

Are my temples still pretty straight or receded? They look kind of straight still but might be wrong.

Dude you gotta stop focussing all your time on your hair, you’re stressing yourself out more which will not do your hair any good in the long run. Take the pill, apply the topical (if you do?) and just go about your normal day. I’m sure it’ll work then after a few months then compare your photos from now till then. Good luck.

I think white bulb means the hair was in the telogen phase

That bulb is huge. Maybe Selb knows what that means. All I know is that when I was shedding a lot of mine used to look similar to that, lots of white stuff, but now I don't seem to get those anymore.

I think your hair looks normal for a guy your age It’s just how you’ve parted your hair. I think all looks normal to me.

Maybe, but it might just be that Finasteride accelerated your hair cycle, which caused the premature shedding of telogen hairs.

I’ve been shedding a lot since November, so before I can I even started finasteride. I feel like I have seb derm and that caused Telogen Effluvium

Looks fine, you're on treatments now so no need to take and post progress pictures everyday as there wont be any significant changes. Every 3-6months is when you should take and compare/post progress pictures.
