Based on the origin of pharmacology, I have been working on hair and hair research from the founding stage, but since the 1980's I have been doing research on genes and cellular levels of hair and skin and it is one of our strengths.

I would like to advance the confirmation of the therapeutic effect in cooperation with a specialist for practical application of hair regrowth medicine as a new treatment for hair loss and thinning hair.

In addition to enhancing infrastructure facilities, many medical companies and organizations including leading research institutions are gathered, so it is easy to cooperate and collect information. The full support of local Kobe City is also great.
I think that it is the best choice for technological development of regenerative medicine as a comprehensive strength.
At our company, we were able to establish "Shiseido Cell Processing and Culture Center" at the Kobe Biomedical Creation Center, which is the core of R & D for commercialization of hair regeneration medicine, which enables cell culturing and processing, at an early stage.
I think that the information and the environment necessary for doing the research and business of the state-of-the-art medical treatment are established in the Kobe medical industry city city.

Cassiopea (Breezula) will post its results for last year at the end of this month. Hopefully we can learn something.
I know most people don't care about it but it is one of the few treatments which is in Phase II and Phase III soon. Might not be as effective but it would be refreshing to see something new FDA approved after decades.
