I was planning on taking it with no guard, but the guy who buzzed it said he had the same type of thinning I did and offered to try what he does and I could just buzz it off if I didn't like it.
He buzzed the sides really short - half an inch or less and scissor-cut the top (where I have...
I am going to buzz/shave my head for the first time in my life tomorrow morning (by a professional barber to try and get it looking decent).
My question is, how long does it take to get your head decently tanned? Do I need to buy anything to put on it?
Any other suggestions?
6 feet, 150 lbs. I look slightly underweight.
I have a slightly receeded hairline, an ever-exposing crown, and diffuse thinning on the top(I can keep it looking decent when not under heavy light). I don't know how well-shaped my head is for shaving. Anyone have advice for determining if I...
I am a diffuse thinner all of the top of my head with a slight-moderate hairline recession. I am debating whether or not to shave my head (not slick-shaven, but really short) but I don't know if it will look better or worse.
What I would like is for some other diffuse thinners to post pics...
I think an important note to this is that the control group had the same occurance of "gyno" as did the finasteride group. People not even taking the drug developed some fat on their chests. While gyno is very real and should be taken seriously, it is more likely a diet problem or lack of proper...
it is $72 where I live. But I prefer the convience of being able to just take a pill and not cut it up everyday. And I am one of those people who doesn't mind paying more for the name brand.
Since I am only 21, I am not that comfortable with using a concealer.
Is 0 guard completely shaven off, as in, no visible hair or is it that really short buzzed look?
My hair has gotten pretty long and isn't looking too good. I normally hear people reccomend a short haircut but I wonder if thats the best idea for diffuse thinners. Anyone got a reccomendation? Shaving my head isn't really an option for me at the moment.
Bravo.
Those are the kinds of post I like to read.
We don't hear enough the college-age community of this board. For a while, it seemed like I was the youngest guy on this board (just turned 21). It's good to know that other people your age are going through the same thing.
And good...
moonman80,
thanks for the reply! I have pretty aggressive male pattern baldness as well so it is good to hear that this kind of thing has worked for someone else. Best of luck in your treatments.
21, diffuse thinning all over the top with hairline going back as well, scalp shows through unless I can get hair just right, been on propecia for 7 full months, starting month 8 now.
I was wondering how many of you diffuse guys use minoxidil and what your results have been like? Do you do the...
I dont know, i just turned 21 and my hair looks awful but in 5-10 years, i dont know if I'd pay 20k. I mean, I guess it depends on my situation and stuff then. Who knows.
