Finasteride Works Definitely Worth Trying If You’re Concerned With Hair Loss

I’ve now been on Finasteride for about 18 months. No side effects my hair is maybe about the same as when I started. It’s kinda hard to tell tbh- all I know is it’s not significantly better or worse. I’ve had gyno since I was a teenager and it hasn’t made anything worse. I have the tissue...

How Normal Is It For Ball Ache To Return When Using Finasteride?

Started finasteride about a year ago and had ball ache for about a month. Wasn’t worried at all as I read this was normal. However recently I’ve been getting it again. Anyone else experienced this ? Cheers

Who On This Forum Has Taken Minoxidil For Decent Amount Of Time?

Interesting. I know it’s hard to know for sure but how much of your hair maintenance/improvement would you say was from minoxidil? I’ve been on finastebride for a year and recently cut my hair short and my hairline seems to possibly be thinning. I’m thinking about possibly trying Minoxidil as well.

Who On This Forum Has Taken Minoxidil For Decent Amount Of Time?

How have you found it? Has it improved your hair thickness? I’ve been on finasteride for a year and my hairline is still much thinner than the rest of my hair. I’m thinking about getting on minoxidil

Finasteride Works Definitely Worth Trying If You’re Concerned With Hair Loss

I had ball ache which lasted a few weeks then went. I also felt like I was suffering from brain fog and mild depression. However at that time I was on a very strict low carb diet because I have gyno and I was worried that being a bit overweight and taking finasteride might exacerbate it so I...

Finasteride Works Definitely Worth Trying If You’re Concerned With Hair Loss

It’s hard to say. I did have a psychological effect though as most of the finasteride studies have been with 1mg and even though 0.5 is probably nearly as effective part of me did worry that maybe it wasn’t. Didn’t notice increased sides so definitely recommend going for the full dose.

Finasteride Works Definitely Worth Trying If You’re Concerned With Hair Loss

Yup. For the first 7 months I was taking a 0.5 dose and decided to go up to 1mg because I thought that it wasn’t working. Literally over the last 6 weeks I’ve noticed that it’s working. It’s not a big difference but when I look and feel my hair I think ‘oh my hair looks pretty okay and feels...

I Find People Keep Repeating In This Forum Between Now And Ten Years Ago

Seriously? I’ve never heard of a test before. It’s hard to tell if finasteride is working tbh I guess I haven’t had any significant hair loss but at the same time things don’t look improved
