I’m pushing 20 years old looking to prevent further loss. I have a genetic widows peak but have recently noticed some further recession at the temples and more stray hairs in the shower. I’m starting propecia at the hopes of keeping what I have as my family’s is prone to hair loss. Did I catch this early enough?

Good luck bro. You still have a complete full head of hair n finasteride will most likely keep it that way for a long time.

You caught this sh*t so early n made your moves quick which is the best case scenario.

Don’t even think about sides, I think a lot of the time it’s mental. I’m 23 and have been on it for a like 14 months and I have no sides.

By the way, my hair is significantly worse than yours n I’m still surviving without anyone noticing, so you’re good. Keep everyone updated.

Propecia is the right decision if you want to avoid hairline recession down the road,be consistent and enjoy hair for the next decades.

Have you lost any hair since taking it ?

Think my hairline has recently taken a small hit but overall my hair is thicker.

I’m happy with the results as before I started I was rapidly thinning and now I’m relatively stable.
