Hey guys should I be taking finasteride alone for a while to assess if it works BEFORE I add minoxidil into the mix? I have both right now, I just was not sure whether it would be better to start with finasteride and see what happens. Thanks

Been on finasteride for a month and a half and I feel as if my hair is slightly thinner than before. Again, this could just be a paranoid observation lol. However, Ive read that it is a good sign for hair to shed/appear thinner as it is a sign that the medication is working? I just need some reassurance...

Looks fine dude. Mine is similar but I have shorter hair. Also, darker hair tends to appear as balding on lighter skin/scalp.

Great, thanks guys! I will stick to finasteride throughout the 6 months to a year period and hope for the best. I've read a lot of good things about taking finasteride alone as it's the stronger option so hopefully it stops the thinning even a little bit and helps thicken up a bit!
