    finasteride SHED

in the middle of a decent shed myself, which i believe is caused by finasteride. started taking it back in mid-march and started noticing shedding about 3 months into it, and 2 months later, my shed is still going strong. just gotta tough it out i suppose, because although it sucks, shedding in...

    did propecia help the itch?

to add my 2 cents, it definitely stopped my itch. i still feel something every now and again, but even when its there (which isnt often) it is a very soft whisper compared to what it was before. i have aggressive male pattern baldness and my itch was absolutely unbearable, and no doubt coincided with lots of...

Once a day application - what the hell??

Sheds, especially from the notorious shed-inducer known as minoxidil, can produce a shed that lasts anywhere from 30-90 days. dont get discouraged, look ahead to the 6 month mark.

just start taking it now... why wait until damage is done?

    Tricomin every other day?

flamingpie- from what i understand folligen is best used every other day (or at least not EVERY day) so if you wanna fill in those empty days with tricomin, i dont think itd be a problem

    Tricomin every other day?

i think alternating both is a good idea if youve got the cash. as far as which is better, it isnt really clear. on the one hand, ahk-cu (the active ingredient in tricomin) has the science and studies behind its CP formulation, but tricomin itself probably doesnt contain a similar concentration...

    New Revivogen Formula

like any hair treatment, you need to keep taking it to get the benefits.

What happens if you stop a treatment at the onset of a shed?

Yeah, shedding and less irritation/inflammation makes me think I may very well be on to something, but now definitely isn't the time!

What happens if you stop a treatment at the onset of a shed?

I cant afford to go through a bad shed right now, as im getting married in less than 2 months. I started using revivogen recently in addition to the big 3 (probably not the smartest decision this late in the game?????) and this morning i shed rather heavily and im pretty sure its the revivogen...

What does finasteride regrowth look like?

could be the start of new growth if youre sure theyre new (and not just some hairs miniaturizing) 2 months would be a lightning fast response, but im not saying it cant happen. keep an eye on them, maybe they will grow thicker and become terminal hairs

    Revivogen solution blocking Minoxidil absorption?

Ive been using revivogen (an oily product of a thin consistency) recently at night- i leave it in overnight, rinse it out in the morning (just with water, massaging my scalp with fingers in hopes of washing the stuff out) however, after i dry my hair, i can run my fingers through my hair, and...

    New Revivogen Formula

i panicked when i read that minoxidil and zinc can supposedly negatively affect one another...kind of over that notion now, as i se many people using products with zinc along with minoxidil in their regimen, and they seem fine, and its not like im applying them together

    New Revivogen Formula

I was just about to ask how things were going for you house- then I saw this thread was recently bumped up. I quit using revivogen about 2 months ago but Im gonna start again since my scalp is in pretty crappy shape as of late, and revivogen, if nothing else, is seriously soothing stuff. Glad to...

    What is my best option?

I don't know why you'd drop minoxidil after 1/2 month, hair loss treatments take months to show resukts, and I hate to say it, but side the odds are stacked against you ( mph @ 22 with a family history) your best chance of halting or slowing loss would be finasteride. Im in the exact same situation...

I'm using Tricomin..am I wasting time? Switch to Rogaine?

Good call on the foam- I always plug it but for good reason- I apparently have one of the most sensitivescalps known to man, but I tolerate the foam no problem- plus its easy to use and dries fast Anyway good luck- and remember a shed will come to pass!
