13 months..So far, hairloss stopped. At about the 2-3 month mark, I noticed a ton of fine, white colored hairs in my temple areas, in addition to little pimples on my scalp. The pimples went away after a couple of months. Some of the white little hairs grew into thicker, darker colored hairs...

Read the packaging/labels/papers that come with your Rogaine... Rogaine can cause some temporary shedding in some people (according to the packaging) this is normal, and a sign that Rogaine is working. Ask your Doctor what you should do.

You guys are making a mistake.... I've been researching BHT's, all these hairs you're removing with a laser could be useful..... If I were a balding guy, I woulnd't be removing hair from my body, except with a razor..... Until HM comes into being, I would keep all my body hair. Later

I agree the state of medical science as it relates to hair loss is very depressing. I find it frustrating there are so few medications for hair loss, and that other than minoxidil and Propecia and hair transplant's, there haven't been any medical breakthroughs.... Found it... I guess Macro had a "rapid increase in hair loss and recession" on dutasteride.... It doesn't sound like someone that took it for 2.5 years with good results, then lost those results, rather, maybe he never had results.... I really hope those things I've been reading about...

I was shedding before taking Avodart.... in November of last year... I lost alot of hair that month, which helped me make up my mind and start taking hair meds. After taking Avodart, I experinced what I would call a lite shed after 3 months or so.. followed by what appeared to be more hair...
