You can also transplant beard and body hair to the crown and apply SMP to the whole of the scalp (including donor hair), plus you can take grafts just above and below the 'safe donor area' to get more grafts. With SMP you don't need hair fibers. 8000 grafts is more than enough for Norwood 5.

This is using another autologous cell method than Replicel is using (Replicel is using DSC cells). And it really isn't a 'hair transplant in a blender'. They're not cloning the cells either (that's how they were able to 'bypass' EU regulation for the study). Wasn't Dr. Cole talking about this...

They;re the same person, you can tell by the hair texture. Hair color with brown and blonde hair always changes depending on wetness, lightning, camera and even just the season (my hair is much more blond in the summer, and not just in the sun) The skin also seems to be just as thick.

I still 100% believe it will grow new hair on completely bald scalp. That's what the mouse studies showed + that study Jahoda did implementing DSC cells from hair follicles from his wife into his arm.

Dr Wesley posted a photo in that thread where he shows the result of the procedure on Arista, with FUE performed on him too...no dot scars in the donor area with Pilofocus and small white dot scars with FUE. He didn't post receipient area photos. Dr Wesley says he's still doing a few cases...

They're positioning this as a long term solution for hair loss. But it might indeed be that the injections need to be partitioned into multiple times every X months or so for the best result. I do want to know what the 5 year efficacy data is to be honest.

Clinics which have bought ARTAS don't use them. Everyone is doing manual (not even motorized) FUE. Prices for top doctors aren't dropping cause of demand. It's much cheaper to start a clinic in Turkey or India cause of labor costs. There's were the FUE cost comes from, it requires more labor...

3 months...I really can't wait. Was figuring we would hear news in about a year. 3 months is great.
