From what I've read is that it supposedly works both internally and topically. I'm thinking of trying some of the hair oil. There are some reasonably priced brands out there. You can also get it in powder form but I don't know how well it dissolves.
Well there is one guy on here who swears by niacin flushing as a cure. I did try it for a month or so and my hair and scalp felt great. I just couldn't stand the flushes anymore.
I'm experimenting with my own concoction. The carrier oils used are virgin olive, avocado, jojoba, grapeseed and castor. The essential oils are cedarwood, thyme, eucalyptus, rosemary, lemon and lavender.
Yea, I'm a little worried about cet maintaining it's efficacy. But I read on another forum where it lasted a guy like 16 years before it stopped working orally.
Look all I know is this the only thing that has ever given me any action. I'm gonna stick with it for at least a year and see what happens. Maybe it only grows baby hairs or maybe over time they will start growing healthy and at a normal rate, only time will tell.
Still looking up for me. The hairs I initially shed are starting to come back and I don't have to strain so much too see the freshly sprouting hairs on the temples. I'm still a little astonished that anything is growing there and I look at them obsessively. I'm optimistic about it and can't wait...
