Either take finasteride or accept your will go bald. These studies that always take another 5 years when the first 5 years rolls around are just a carrot on the end of a stick stuck to your head, and then you'll be old and bald realising you wasting your youth worrying about being bald. And then you die.
You're 17 man, you are so sensitive to test that your libido is through the roof, I was the same way. Literally a walking boner.
I'll be 27 in a month, it's different.
But if your libido goes down at 18 after taking finasteride, you'll know it's the drug.
You're experiencing bad hair loss? Are the men in your family bald?
In terms of my hair, my results were SIGNIFICANT. Hairline thickened up, density increased everywhere (I am a diffuse thinner, albeit it very slowly).
I was only taking 0.5mg every other day and did so for about 3 or 4...
True, but I figured that if it even had any effect at all, surely this would produce the opposite effect of ED, which a lot of people report.
Are you taking finasteride now?
If so how is your experience on it?
I can't stand it but there is little else that is readily available right now with any...
Maybe you're right, like I said I'm not an expert.
But if this is the case, then would penile/prostate tissue also not become more sensitive to DHT following upregulation?
No rudimentary level please.
Can someone please tell me if my logic here is correct:
- If upregulation causes the effect of a hormone on a tissue/receptor to decrease, is this one of the possible reasons that finasteride could cause long-term ED in people, despite DHT levels returning to...
If your penis is infrequently being engorged with blood, it will have an effect on the size of your penis. Old men's penises shrink slightly over time, likely due to less overall testosterone with age, but also due to the mechanical nature of nocturnal tumescence.
Hey,
I posted maybe about a year ago with my experience on finasteride, so you can check that thread too if you like.
My hair has been thinning a bit more lately, especially the corners of my hairline.
I still had some proscar from before, so I said f it; I'll give it a go for a few weeks to...
But topical testosterone gel gets absorbed systemically? Is the dosing the reason or is there another mechanism between testosterone gel and topical spironolactone cream?
Interesting, how have the sides been after 12 years - if any at all?
I read a study that showed significant improvement among mice hair counts and hair densities, but in humans you might be correct. Interesting nonetheless.
