I work for a big company that actually pays for all prescriptions. So if I want to hop on Avodart or something else, I can do it. Propecia isn't covered, but the other versions of it are. So I figure. Why not? But, I'm concerned about side effects.
Is there a write up or a FAQ on the issue...
I think the biggest treatment people should worry about is just dealing with knowing it's going, instead of worrying about how my hair is going, I'm enjoying the hell out of what I have while I have it. When it goes, I guess it's gone.
I'm getting about three months in to minoxidil and it's really not helping. I'm sure my hair actually is worse now. I'm still shedding. I'm curious when the improvement is supposed to be heading my way?
I think I'll hit up my doctor soon, just be real plain about it and say that one of her co-workers told me to try Rogaine, I researched it and it looks like Proscar is the better option for a guy with a whole head of hair for the time being. I am not asking to keep it forever, 10 years would do...
I noticed mine after I looked at my head after seeing my 20 year old cousin with hardly anything on the top of his head. I am way better off than he is at this point, knock on wood.
