20 year old male. Mild but noticeable and annoying testicular pain/"pressure" (especially my right) after 3 doses of finasteride. Took 1.25mg the first night, 0.625 mg the following two nights, and skipped it last night due to this. I thought it was in my head, but I can definitely still notice...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but does anyone know about the difference in side effect potential between finasteride and dutasteride?

Even minor imperceptible that people don't even notice until they come off the medication (due to how slowly and steadily some of the side effects develop)? I know that the statistics talk mostly about the major side effects, but are some people completely immune to ALL Propecia side effects...

Thread title sums it up. I was prescribed generic Proscar (5mg finasteride), and was instructed by my doctor to cut them in fourths and take 1.25mg/day. In an attempt to minimize potential side effects, I've decided to gradually work up to 1.25mg/day by splitting the 5mg pill in eighths, or...
