I don't think that you've been using Minoxidil long enough for it to have any long term detrimental effect on your hair if you stop taking it at this stage. I used Minoxidil 5% and after a minor shed early on regrew a little hair and didn't suffer any sheds after I stopped using it a few years...

Yep Boots sell rogaine foam I was in the store the other day and if I had the money I probably would of been tempted to purchase it as I've heard good things about the product.

I'm one of the few people on this board that uses Nanogaine and have commented on it in plenty of threads. I've been using it for almost a year and in my experience it is has worked for me far more effectively than Regaine.

Jennifer Connoly circa 1990-2000 was probably the hotest babe on the planet for me. Just a shame she lost a lot of weight and turned waif-like. Lost all her curves......still attractive though and the girl in the photos not too bad either.

Is there a link between having tight braids and ponytails and Trichotillomania I'm sure I've heard this somewhere? Is it all braided hairstyles or just the tight hair styles?

Yeah, its hard to compare hair loss treatments when one has thousands of users who post on various forums and one that has.........a lot less. I'd be very interested to know whether I'm one of the few it has worked for or one of the many? Come on don't be shy!!!! Anyone who has used Nanogaine...

I don't blame you my wallets been a lot lighter since I've been using it :sobbing: With the established hair loss products and the better known treatments on the market it makes sense I guess to stick with things that work for you and that are affordable.

No problem :) when you have a point of view, opinion or an outlook which differs from the majority its to be expected....besides I kind of enjoy being the lone voice in the dark sometimes.

Yep, first couple of months on regaine was fine and there were some gains. After a couple of years my scalp started to flake badly and I hadn't had any hair re-growth or thickening up of existing hairs since the earlier spurt. I think my scalp started to rebel against the alcohol in the Regaine.

I haven't seen anything that specifically targets and rejuvenates the hair follicle itself I don't think but if something comes on the market that does so and is effective I'd definitely be interested.

I use the Nanoguard A shampoo and the Nanoguard B topical as both are supposed to inhibit DHT. I usually leave the shampoo in for between 10-30 mins as I don't imagine it would be as effective if I washed the shampoo out of my hair within minutes of applying it. Their probably best used in...

I seriously considered using Revivogen when I stopped taking Minoxidil earlier this year but from what I could gather from most posters is that it is mostly effective in the maintenance and overall look of your hair as opposed to re-growth.
