For me, no.

I have devoted a lot of my time to studies (both undergrad and graduate levels). I will often times miss events because of projects/tests/etc. One of my goals is this year is to be a little more "lax" when it comes to this; learn better time management skills and sometimes just learning how to say "f*** it." I think a significant amount of the spark that young people have is due to an innate belief in a better life ahead. Which gets extinguished as they hit middle age. It still raises the question of why you can't do it at yours and if the answer is "I live with my parents" it's a massive turn off for both parties.
