Supposedly minoxidil shed hairs eventually regrow within a few months of the follicle shedding but I've been on a never ending super shed for 5 and a half months now. The hairs ( mostly thick ones ) that shed do not grow back, not even thinner. They fall out and dont grow back at all. I have a strip on both sides of my hairline that is completely pale due to the lack of hair there now and its crushing. Nothing seems to work for me I don't get it, I've not had an errection in weeks, I produce no sperm, my sex drive is non existent and my breasts are tender and perky. WTF is going on???:(:(

You just don't have the genetics to respond to treatments in the way you want. Full hair cycles can take up to 6 months. Your hair is not as bad as you think it is. Work on getting better mentally if that is possible.

I feel cheated, really. My hair may not be awful but for the hair of a 20 year old its pretty bad. I could deal with it If my loss would at least stop but whatever I try somehow just makes the situation worse! I'm not sure what else to do right now. Maybe I should leave the forums for a while, its certainly not helping my mental state.

Because there is no cure to hairloss all those medication do is help maintain the hair you already have and maybe grow a little more hair. Its the sad reality but just gotta be brutaly honest sometimes

When a lot of your hair is in the telogen phase for a while it takes a while for them to enter anagen and then grow enough to fill in an area. Your regimen is scary and looks more like a MtF routine than hair loss.

Maybe you stressing about it is causing it.
I am stressed to the high heavens so maybe.. I just tried some toppik on my hairline and it actually looks really, really good. I am like NW1.5 with toppik on lol.

Yes I know but isn't 5 and a half months a bit long? I've only been on Cyproterone Acetate and oral estrogen for a month but the others I've been on for over a year ( finasteride ) and minoxidil for 9 months. What so you mean it looks like a mtf routine than hair loss? Isn't the point of mtf routine to regrow hair??

To be honest, I think the science is lagging. It's a billion dollar industry. I don't get why we don't figure it out.

I think it's a multi faceted issue:

  1. Environmental
  2. Age
  3. Genetics
  4. Lifestyle
  5. Other
II took drugs called Accutane. My father had hair at 60 but, drastically changed due to age. Environmental issues like stresses in family, money, and violence in home increases cortisol. Genetics being a precursor. Lifestyle stresses like work, management money, etc which coincide with environmental. Other unknown factors, possible drugs, gmos, diet, etc.

My advice, exercise, run, eat a nutritional diet. It can only get better. You look and feel healthier. I saw Statham in death race. The scene of him doing pull up is awesome. I don't care he's lost hair. He's bad ***.

I can't remember ... but have you already tried Dutasteride ? 0.5mg, 1mg ... or more ?
No I have not, I'm tempted but scared because finasteride made things worse. How long did dutasteride work for you before it lost effectiveness? Also did you try finasteride? It didn't work for me. I don't think I'll need dutasteride as Cyproterone Acetate also inhibits DHT and is a progesterone. I do have tiny white vellus hairs that popped up a week and a half ago but I'm not sure if they were always there or not.. They are shiny like glittet

I can't either. I just will not sport bird's nest or comb over. There will come a time and it's gone. I hope you do the same.

Checkout psychedelic substance YouTube channel. Cool guy. Seems right up your alley.

I don't think you will bald aggressively. I really think you should go back to basics and just use finasteride. Topical minoxidil foam once or twice per day. Don't make excuses about not being able to keep up with the minoxidil. You don't even leave your house. You are way too young to be messing with other drugs. I feel bad for you since you really seem like a good person. I know you have a lot of mental issues and that is what you need to work on.
