I spent many years exploring psychedelics and i know all about Terrence McKenna he is one of my favorite minds even to this day. Tripping taught me more about my own psyche and the world around me than i would have learned in 1000 years. But my obsession with appearance has nothing to do with finding a mate, i stopped caring about passing genes, procreation, women, and i also dropped all of my addictions, addiction to social media and entertainment addiction to sugar and junk food. It has changed me drastically over the years to the point i do not recognize the old me as me at all. LSD, DMT, and psilocybin are powerful life altering substances that can change you to the core. I don't trip anymore due to my mental health being impacted, so ive been away from it for 3 years, i haven't reverted back to my old self at all but my desire to look good has come back and its solely for myself and my career that i want to look good and personally dont have a care in the world about finding someone to be with, but im pretty introverted too for the most part unless its required that i be outgoing. But it's cool to talk to someone who trips too, its not often that i meet someone who has expanded their consciousness using psychedelics thanks for the reply
I cannot advocate it. All I can say is that, I evolved because of it. You can easily backslide or become the forum user who cries about being cueball bald and rents a mini van to go gta. But what sort of life and legacy is that?
Terence McKenna cautions 'knowledge you did not earn.' I have heard monks head similar insights. It's again no joke. Tripping is walking that fine line between chaos and order. There's a band mate from pink Floyd that lost himself in chaos. There's a fine line between exploring and getting absolutely obliterated by chaos.
There's an element of confidence that comes from indifference, being aloof, nonchalant, and proceeding as such. Trying to be a beautiful man or crying the way a lot of guys are about hair loss is a waste of time and effort.
I am glad you are doing well and pursuing things a new. I simply put my best out into the universe. Leave the rest to God.
