What a sad type of topic. So what, if some celebrity is balding, that makes you feel better about your own hairloss? I never got this...

- - - Updated - - -

If you had half a brain and half the knowledge I have regarding hair pieces, you would know that a wig has to be attached to your remaining hair.

Tell me, where does he attach the wig with those short sides? How is he going to perform in races with a wig under his helmet?

Strop trying to contradict me for the sake of contradicting me.

Hmm, i thought wigs attach to scalp(which must be shaven in advance), not to existing hair?! I'm sure a high-end wig can blend with short sides anyday.
There are wigs and wigs, we are not in 70's, as i heard, some are quite "breathable", they don't completely cover and suffocate the scalp.

This is a discussion forum where we discuss all things and everything about hair loss. If you object to anything being discussed then move swiftly along. Now having said that onto the second point: 1) 'What a sad type of topic' - This is the impact of hair loss section, by definition our lives our sad, bought upon by this curse. And who are you to judge if a topic is sad anyway? 2) 'So what, if some celebrity is balding, that makes you feel better about your own hairloss? I never got this...' - A celebrity balding is something we discuss because it's an interesting topic on multiple levels, such as how they are balding, what they are doing about it, how it is affecting them, how it shows that hair loss affects everybody, to mention a just a few. If you don't get this then like I said move along. What a retarded comment, jeez. If I'm not mistaken I'm sure in the past several of your comments have been just as retarded and pissed me off also, you have a talent.

great points.

i'm fascinated by guys who take baldness and succeed despite it. i can't do what they do. i honor it greatly. neil strauss, who looks like me with his short and bald jewish features, is a great example. say what you want to about him being a fraud or whatever, but whatever the case he is semi-famous, rich, and has a decent amount of prestige. he also wrote for the prestigious new york times and got writing awards.

of course larry david is another great example. even though making fun of himself and his baldness is his shtick, he is still unarguably VERY influential and a great playwright and actor. seinfeld alone is lauded out the ***.

These rich millionaire athletes sure have some tricks, they may have access to treatments still in development stage. Has anyone noticed Lebrons hair? In the last few games he hasn't worn his trademark headband as his hairline has magically been restored. I swear he's had a hair transplant in the past that didn't work but now its grown in well and just out of nowhere. And its definitely not a painted on hairline this time like in the summer when he was promoting shoes as you can still see a nw4/5 pattern but his density has returned him to looking nw1 from some angles.

Is it just me or do the 'gaps' between his cornrows look just a little bit too wide compared to what cornrows usually look like? Nonetheless, that's an amazing result indeed compared to what he had a short time ago. I agree about the hair style though, it's **** lol

The cornrows look like ****. He hasn't even got close to the density required to pull that off. His old hairstyle looked fine.

Or are these all little wigs he glued on his scalp?

Bringing out all the jokes Fred :uglylol:

Indeed, he has tons of donor and native hair, so therefore the wig option is very unlikely through logic. Pretty sure the guy got briefed on hair loss by his Doctor and took action. Just hair right? As if.

So much for "black guys don't need to worry about baldness! They pull it off!" Yeah Lewis Hamilton and Lebron James totally don't care.

Yes. I have personal experience of this myself too as I have mentioned previously! My friend who is black is treating it with dutasteride and Rogaine, yet he looks good shaved due to his head shape/face, 6ft and good natural build. He said his other friend is treating it too who is black. It's actually a myth that black guys don't care for hair loss I believe. Okay they might like shaving their heads but they also like growing their hair out, so many specialist barber shops around here for them.

"Just hair" comment makes me angry. No one wants to lose hair. Fact.

This guy has everything he could ever want in this world but he is really suffering.

Can't say I have much sympathy for him. He's banging Nicole Scherzinger, is one of the best F1 drivers in the world, and earns £32m a year. And he'd also look fine shaved! I don't believe hairloss really impacts his life much at all.

EDIT: Just seen those cornrows. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?

He switched to a blond wig!

Lol those people who kept saying he wears a piece (even after explaining to them that it's not possible for an F1 driver and also how short his sides are) can finally see that it's his own hair.

Edit: As well as the corn row picture

lol just another colored guy wanting to be white haha

Actually Lewis Hamilton is mixed race, his mum is white.

Also what's up with this 'come on home' phrase? Is this forum like bodybuilding forum in the sense that there is forum-specific slang?
