I was on here back in 2014 because of telogen effluvium from accutane which resolved by itself within a year and a half. Then I was dormant here up until late 2020 when I started losing hair again. But this time I feel like it’s genetic loss.

Wow thats some thick *** hair strands, I dont see any miniaturization at all. Even women got abit receeded hairline its normal even my sisters have it.

Yeah but at this point I am already one month in on finasteride. No point in stopping now, and I guess I can use the peace of mind.

Im using high dose dutasteride and only side effect is abit reduced ejaculation force.

Damn you’re over here taking dutasteride full force and I’m over here barely taking 2mg a week of finasteride. How has it been working for you

I think im maintaining at best and much reduced shedding, Yeah even high dose dutasteride isnt a miracle for some men. But more time will tell as im also on oral minoxidill.

Just a heads up. Been on finasteride .5 eod for little over a month. For the first month my libido and erection quality was kind of meh but baby I just bounced back. I strongly believe that it’s due to body accustoming to finasteride.

So if anyone is like me in this situation and thinks they are getting sides within the first month. Just wait it out and see what happens.

Ye same story when i first started dutasteride. No sexual sides but I had severe insomnia for damn 4 or 5 months. But that ended because Body got used to the drug. Kudos to you.

Yeah it’s interesting how the body picks up slack and reaches its homeostasis again eventually after introducing a 5aRi

I got nervous when I wasn’t producing much precum (tmi lol) but it’s back to normal now along with spontaneous erections. It honestly could all be psychosomatic as well.
