Anyone has been in the same situation at the 8 month mark, and could tell if the situation resolved or improved?
I'm really scared right now.

Get your bloods done to see what the problem is. Entirely likely you have fucked up hormones. Make sure you also get your prolactin tested as well for the same reason.

Yep had the same. Took ma close to two years to kind of be able to function again.
After 1 year you had libido? At least 50%?

Just curious, and please take no offense, do you have any history of depression or anxiety?

Don't worry.
Yes, had.
But a decade ago and i'm mentally fine right now. Nothing strange.
Why are you asking about that?

There was a study done that showed those that suffered from PFS had a history of depression or anxiety. Your history correlates with the study. I am not implying the study is the reason but I find it very common when I ask that 100 percent of who I asked had a history of it.

Could you link me such study?
I read, after that, a lot of studies about finasteride but not this one link psychiatric illness with PFS.
Do they usually recover?

Unfortunately it seems serum levels are not really telling because many individuals reported various sides despite having normal blood work results.

Dont panic.
As you've been told serum levels dont tell all the story since neurosteroids deprivation is involved.
It takes time, if you want to rush the process many people used with success medical dopamine agonists (picamilon for example, cabergoline, cabaser etc).
Otherwise the natural way with cycle of Boron, zinc and vitamin E.
Pregnolone is also a safe sexual precursors in order to balance estrogens.
But in any case, you'll get out of it.

maybe a Dopamine Agonist doesn't fit well for me.
What i have to do with boron, zinc pregnalone and Vitamin E?
Take it everyday or cycling?
At which doses?
Is there a scientific proof of that?

Dude how would Caber or any other dopamine agonist benefit neurosteroids ? The best bet for any true PFS sufferer would be to do a proviron cycle and get GABA back online in full force.

Gaba itself would be very useful if could cross the brain barrier but it cant , and infact i suggested Picamilon which is Gaba+niacin in a different composition that passes the brain barrier.
There are studies about dopaminergic agonists and neurosteroids..
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1023/A:1021015705597
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/12153544/
"The neurosteroid allopregnanolone affects dopamine release"
Preg and allopreg are interconnected and influence dopamine release.
But more than that :
"These results suggest that the stimulatory effect of AlloP on DA could mediate some of the behavioural effects of neurosteroids and, in particular, the interaction of these hormones with mood and motivation."

Paragraph "Regulation of sex hormones"
There are tons of studies about zinc
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/20446777/
Pregnolone is used (even here from users) because is a sexual precursor and dont have to explain to you that
both male and female sex hormones comes from it: "Pregnenolone treatment alone stimulated production of all steroid hormones except E2."
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/23948739/
The only less studied suggestion is vitamin E which was very effective on white boars at 40/70iu /kg

Pregnenolone, is a safe supplement? Doesn't have interactions with other meds or similar?

You know i cant say that from here to you.
Its not a candy and you should check with your MD for a decision based on your condition
