I mean my words that those who have not seen any success of finastraide should try the dutasteride because they can be genetically not sensitive to testosterone, and their lack of success with finastraide can be caused by a little not inhabited dihydrotestosterone so in this case duta would be a great boost

It looks good, and most normal people wouldn't even see any thinning. Be careful with the toppik though. The photo of your crown might look a little off to a normal person. Even someone with no thinning whatsoever is going to show a little scalp around the whirl of their crown. Seeing all brown might look a little off-- albeit I can't imagine many scenarios where someone is looking directly at your crown from above.

Thanks man. You’re right about the toppik, but if I don’t put it in there like that my thinning is very obvious (in my opinion). I’d rather larger up my hair with toppik and let people think whatever they want. Normal people don’t even know toppik exists so I really doubt they’d recognize it.
When you say most people won’t notice the thinning, I’m curious, you can see the thinning in those photos? You’d be able to tell as a Norwood spotter?
Edit: that’s also in the harshest lighting I have in my house so that’s as bad as it can possibly look. Under normal conditions the toppik isn’t as noticeable.

Unfortunately it’s just a good cut. When my hair was wet while she was cutting it, it was BAD. Worse than last time. My hair was naturally very thick so my sides and back are still thicker than most peoples hair (giving me a puffed out horse shoe when not trimmed properly). Remember I’m using a good amount of toppik in those pics. My wet hair is a major problem. Here’s a wet hair pic one month on finasteride and then two more taken a few weeks ago, 8 months on. Different lighting but you can tell how much my density has dropped.
Thanks for the compliment man. I always take way too long to get a haircut and it gets so ratty and bad looking and I forgot how much better I feel when I finally get a trim. I’m just so embarrassed of my wet hair so I avoid it, but my barber already knows me so f*** it I guess.

When I say most people won't notice thinning on you, I mean to say that to most people you would never be labeled as "balding" or "thinning". You'd appear normal, perhaps someone with naturally fine hair. Thats not to say that you aren't thinning; its just not yet to an extent that it has become noticeable to most people who don't constantly think about their hair because of hairloss (like people on this forum).

So here are some wet shots I got today. Remember, when I first started finasteride 8 months ago I couldn’t see any scalp in the mirror after a shower, except a bit in the crown. I’ve lost a lot of ground but it’s hard to tell if I’m continuing to lose these past few months. Hopefully finasteride has started to maintain lately, then I can add in some minoxidil and get some regrowth...
Thoughts on these photos?

Looks like you're moving in the right direction; towards stability. Regrowth could be the next phase once stabilized. Gives me hope that it might be worthwhile to hold the course with finasteride for a few more months.

Dude you have gyno! guess what maybe just maybeeee you have low T, and thats why you are losing your hair. JUst maybe!! being on trt dose did nothing but good to my hair!

I’ve had gyno since puberty and I had my levels tested. Total and free T are in normal range so I don’t think it’s that.

tbh I havent seen anyone who started balding before 23-24 have success with finasteride. It slows it down but usually the male pattern baldness progresses more slowly

Slightly, but not a very significant change. Still about a nw2. The only issue I have is the progressive thinning. I know a few members here who started balding at my age and have maintained for a few years on finasteride alone.

I got home tonight and took some pictures of my hair after wearing toppik all day. This is in shitty lighting so it probably looks a lot worse in better lighting...

That’s with toppik? I don’t believe it’s improving. Do you think that’s noticeable to non balding people though?

I feel you bro. My crown looks a bit worse as in your pics. I don't use toppik to hide it and no one has commented on it so far. Most of my friends are very direct so they would def say sth if it would be very obvious.
