Which graph dost thou refer to, the one referring to the D Morailes study using the "De La Rue" index, or the one referring to the "Nizoralian Barrier"?

Heres a few more ideas..

The 'Tynan' award for the funniest poster.

The 'Bryan' award for the most scientific poster.

The 'Tiny Whiny' award for the poster who most complains about propecia side effects.

1) Spammer who manages to elude the authorities the longest.

The `B******r` award. (edited for reasons)

2) Poster who counts hairs the most.

The `Accountant` Award

3) Poster who hates hairlosstalk, but has a huge post count and wont leave.

The 'Hairsite Misses You' award.

4) Poster with the greatest hair loss related photoshop skills

The `Mac Daddy` Award

5) The newbie advice giver. Brand new to the forums. Brand new to hair loss, but provides hundreds of responses to questions which are 90% inaccurate.

The `Dont worry you will learn before your bald` award.

6) The poster with the most irregular hair loss pattern. (Title suggestions so far: The Rubic)

The `Nofrigginideawood` Award

7) The poster with the biggest, most elaborate regimen.

The 'Kitchen Sink' award.

8 ) A possible new name for the "Over Prescriber". Gardener's description of this poster:

The `Jack Kevorkian` Award

As always zimmy, absolutely brilliant.

I am suggesting the "Bad Pharmacist" award for the over prescriber ...

B*******r award was hilarious ...

Bryan award for most scientific ... beautiful ....

Now here's the hard part

Selecting nominee's. Who is going to do the work of finding and remembering who qualifies? I believe November 1 is a good time to establish an MVN awards nominee's forum. I will set the categories, and between now and Dec 31 people can begin placing nominee names into the appropriate categories.

Zimmy and Gardener - you guys are better at this than I am. Does this sound like a good way to do it? One forum for MVN's and a "topic" for each category... allowing people a full 2 months to review and nominate?

True nominations will take into account the last 6 months ... though most will be inclined to start looking from Nov 1 forward ...

Suggestions?

Letter received from a spammer on the HerAlopecia forums today, in response to being banned:

Re: *********** It was me who posted at your site. I'm sorry if it came across as spamming. We just offer the cheapest Woman's Minoxidil available in the UK, and prefer if your members took advantage of this - instead of paying over the odds for the same product elsewhere. It's to help you out if anything. It certainly wasn't supposed to cause any problems. Apologies. John

LOL ....... "I spammed you to help you out, if anything".

Do the winners get the titles next to their names on the lefthand side as well until the next round of voting?

I am not here to judge, just to suggest.

Tom Sawyer whitewashed a fence using a similar strategy.
I wasn't trying to trick someone into doing the work for me. Zimmy came up with some funny stuff, and I quite simply lack the wit to do it myself. Besides, I do everything (and i mean everything) around here. I need a break!

Why not? It's a clever idea -- not a bad thing.

I think we should give radio/tynan with the "shi tting on Gunner award"

I suppose Gunner gets the award for sending sexually abusive messages to female posters on this forum then?

I think "sexually abusive" is way too strong of a phrase for what he did.

Still inappropriate.

I nominate Bryan and S. Foote for best gunfight performance in a Western.

The HairLossTalk.com Chernobyl Award goes to Rawbbie, for best total meltdown.

Tynan i still wanna see a dramatic representation of Bryan and S Foote portrayed as two battling knights on horses from medieval times!

S. Foote as the Man with No Bullets.

I nominate Dave001 for `pretend scientist' of the year for his steadfast refusal to debate the issues, just hoping that his `techno-babble' will pass for science and fool people

S Foote.
